Premieres on Saturday, May 20, 2017 @ 8 PM on HBO.
The teaser trailer is out, and it’s great. Looks like it’s HBO’s major telefilm push this year, and needless to say, Robert DeNiro is staring at his first Emmy nomination here and possible win as Bernie Madoff. Also look out for Michelle Pfeiffer as a contender too.

I never try to judge something off of a trailer, DeNiro looks great though, not sure about Pfeiffer, nothing in the trailer from her seemed that great but we’ll see.April 12, 2017 at 11:40 am #1202064607
By the looks of the trailer, it’s going to be 100 times better than the Madoff miniseries with Richard Dreyfuss.April 12, 2017 at 12:22 pm #1202064646
Everbody predicts Hank Azaria for this but he was barely in the trailer. Is it just because he won an Emmy last year?Riley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantApril 12, 2017 at 12:40 pm #1202064678
He has been nominated for six different programs over the years.May 15, 2017 at 5:32 pm #1202093926
This has a mere 68 so far on Metacritic. I guess Sherlock wins by default once again? Or Black Mirror becomes the spoiler.May 15, 2017 at 5:49 pm #1202093941
Wizard of Lies can still win, but I think Black Mirror is the favorite. Won’t be surprised if they just give it to Sherlock again because we all know they probably won’t actually watch any of them.May 15, 2017 at 6:24 pm #1202093981
Black Mirror is winning this by a landslide. No doubtRiley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantMay 15, 2017 at 9:36 pm #1202094107
Preliminary 67 on Metacritic, average rating of 6.5 on Rotten Tomatoes and high score of 83 means no passion and nobody ticking this off first. Moving Michelle Pfeiffer down to sixth.May 15, 2017 at 9:44 pm #1202094110

Do you still think De Niro might win?Riley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantMay 15, 2017 at 9:50 pm #1202094117
I had been predicting Ewan McGregor, but I am not seeing passion for that performance either, so I am switching to Riz Ahmed, per the poll.May 16, 2017 at 8:10 am #1202094453
Should I predict Hank Azaria for this?May 20, 2017 at 12:03 pm #1202097804
