This was basically 30 seconds of nothing. Just like Silicon Valley’s teaser. But plesantly surprised to see them using their writing emmy to promote the show instead of sup.actor. That will be inevitable but I’m not sure if I want to see more of Laurie. I want Simmons and Walsh!

Good to hear. Hopefully David doesn’t try to emulate Ianucci though. The important thing is to make the characters stay coherent.

Veep has a lot to work with being an election year here in the states and all. Hoping for an improved 5th season! Only thoroughly enjoyed about half the episodes of S4.

Indiewire: http://www.indiewire.com/article/veep-season-5-review-julia-louis-dreyfus-20160420, who says Veep and Louis-Dreyfus should both repeat at the Emmys based on the episodes he’s seen, and points to episode four “Mother” as a submission for JLD.

And Tim Goodman (THR), who ahead of his review (I assume) tweeted: I’ve been watching #Veep episodes and dying. It’s so wrong. It’s so ridiculously funny. Like, pausing constantly to fall over and wheeze… I rewound that like five times. #Veep
