Major bit of casting news announced today. Feels weird in a way, but I can picture them together too, oddly enough.
David Schwimmer has joined the cast of “Will & Grace” for the reboot’s sophomore run, which premieres Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The “Friends” alumnus will join returning cast members Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally as Grace’s new love interest. More guest stars confirmed for Season 2 include Alec Baldwin, Chelsea Handler, and Mary McCormack.

They already did that with Edie Falco and Chloë Sevingy in “East Side Story,” so hopefully this time there’s a new spin involved.August 9, 2018 at 10:07 pm #1202606644
I would like to see Will get a love interest this season. The man can’t stay a miserable, self-loathing, lonely spinster forever can he?September 6, 2018 at 3:00 am #1202624554
Also can we talk about the premiere being called “Where in the World is Karen Walker?” – Mullally’s gonna be showing why she should have won the Emmy this year immediately after losing itSeptember 6, 2018 at 8:51 am #1202624726
When I interviewed Megan for Gold Derby, she revealed that Karen is getting a divorce this season. It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s part of her arc in the first few episodes.September 8, 2018 at 4:32 pm #1202626757

Absolutely riotous physical comedy from Sean Hayes. Reminiscent of David Hyde Pierce’s Emmy-winning dialogueless Valentine’s Day slapstick.
Megan Mullally once again made something out of nothing. (“How dare you insinuate I would go to an Italian doctor!”)
David Schwimmer was good in a creative role; so far this is a fresh twist on Grace’s love life saga.October 4, 2018 at 7:39 pm #1202646483
Get it, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally!October 5, 2018 at 4:37 am #1202646663
Great premiere. Sean Hayes is perhaps the best actor on television right now at physical humour. Just sensational and an immediate reminder of how horrific his Emmy snub was. The rest of the cast, particularly Messing, were also on brilliant form and David Schwimmer’s guest appearance was actually really good even if the writing around wasn’t as strong as it was in the rest of the episode.October 5, 2018 at 5:25 am #1202646669
Sean Hayes is a comedic genius and his Emmy snub will forever remain one of the worst mistakes TV Academy has done.October 5, 2018 at 6:31 am #1202646721
This was great. My grade: A+October 5, 2018 at 7:23 am #1202646780
If that’s how they start I expect this season to be on the level of the first three seasons.
This cast truly deserves SAG ensemble nomination. And my god if Hayes gets snubbed once again by Emmys I will riot. When it comes to physical comedy there’s no one better on television.
