Ok who else got teary when Grace (not doing her character’s comedic over singing for ONCE in the 9 years of the show!) and her sisters started singing and pantomiming Debbie’s first song from Singin in the Rain?

What a lovely tribute to Bobbi Adler! This season is just too good. If the tape system was still in play they could submit Rosario’s Quinceañera, Grandpa Jack and any four episodes from second half of the season and be very competitive for the win. Btw this episode made me realize how much I miss seeing Sara Rue. Someone cast her on some show asap.

She was on a couple of episodes of American Housewife. I hate that show but regognizd her voice quickly. She was also in a Hallmark movie last year and a Lifetime one about a crazy person is obsessed with another person’s baby. I just can’t remember the names. Hope that helps you find them 🙂

Wow the show fell below a 1 rating the same week that roseanne premiered above a 5 rating.
General public is tuning out more and more.

Nice tribute to Debbie Reynolds. She was so great as Bobbi Adler. I’m irked that they recast Grace’s father with Robert Klein though. Alan Arkin wasn’t available? He’s steadily working and not retired according to IMDB. It’s like past show history being completely disregarded. It’s a clear setback with reboots with writers thinking old viewers don’t have long memories (wrong, we do) and new viewers won’t know the difference. Sad that Drew broke up with Jack. Alec Baldwin’s return as Malcolm wasn’t too hot. I thought we were supposed to finally see Stan. Maybe that’s coming in the season finale.

Sara Rue will be in this season of Unfortunate Events. I think the whole season. She was looking even thinner than the last time I saw her (wherever that was).

Ever since it was announced, it’s weird that people complain about the Alan Arkin recasting saying he’s still working and such…yet nobody complains about Geena Davis being recast too. She’s also working and I suspect is probably doing so less than Alan Arkin. So she must have been really available.

They reused the “I just came out I’m breaking up with you” storyline again? This was the exact same situation as Will and Barry.

Alec Baldwin had zero to do.

I don’t mind that they reused it because it is a very common thing that happens to many gay people.

As for the episode itself, I actually strongly disliked it. Not funny at all to me. Very clunky and weird, especially Alec Baldwin’s storyline, which made me sad more than anything else.

Well Arkin’s role was something I instantly noticed in a prominent recast role with Klein. It has nothing to do with not noticing the other recasts, b/c I’m fully aware of those too, FYI. This one bothered me more.

Decent episode. Nothing to write home about it.

This was a very uneven finale. On the one hand I liked some things, on the other I didn’t. I didn’t care for Malcom last episode and I still didn’t care for him tonight but at least this time he was funny. But it was thanks to Karen and of course Smitty. And honestly, can they finally show Stan? How long do we have to wait? Fans deserve to finally meet him. Marilyn and Martin hooking up was so obvious I could see it coming a mile away. As for Jack and his fiance… lol Bring back Judith asap! And do not even dare to recast her! Veronica Cartwright is the only Judith I can accept. Oh, and if they once again separate Will and Grace I’m gonna puke. Keep them together, they’re made for each other. All in all I would rank seasons as this: 3, 1, 2, 4/9/8, 5, 6/7
