With the seasons of Master of None and UKS out, you stand by your opinion that the former won’t get into Writing, and the latter will lose Tituss Burguess in Sup. Actor? Also, Why do you think CEX will lose a spot on Lyrics?

I don’t see why Burgess wouldn’t be nominated. He’s much more likely than Krakowski who doesn’t really stand out this season. I also think given the quality of the two shows I think Master of None will do better and should be able to do even better than last year.

Oops, that first one was a typo. “Supporting Actress” should have been “Supporting Actor”. (If you include Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon and count up who else I was predicting for the supporting categories, you will see that I was short for actor and have an extra for actress.) Master of None and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt have the same acclaim as last year, which was expected by default, so nothing about their release changes my predictions there. The music categories are a crap shoot.

I’ve heard a lot more positive things for Master of None and a bit more negative stuff for UKS this year, I don’t think the acclaim is really the same even if they have similar metacritic scores. Also, on social media I’m hearing a lot more about Master of None, which I saw nothing about of social media when the first season came out.

I am rooting for Schitt’s Creek to make it this year.

It would be cool to see a Canadian show break through, especially since I am from Canada.

May the best of your todays be the worst of your tomorrows.

My personal winner has been BoJack Horseman but they aren’t actually competing in comedy, so out of the ones that are, I’ll probably end up picking Atlanta as my personal winner and actual prediction. B.A.N. was probably my favorite episode of 2016
