The Kennedy Center HonorsDecember 7, 2011 at 1:39 pm #234370Love the double nominations for Boardwalk Empire and Breaking Bad! Also good on Homeland for landing some nominations. SAd that Parks and Rec. didn’t get a nod for best episode, but the inclusion “Caught in the Act” and “Queen of Jordan” makes up for that blow. I would say something about Veena “Shit Don’t Stank” Sud, but by my initial statement, it would be redundant.
And the PGA nods are expected across the board. I could’ve done w/o that Dexter nod though.
And it seems that The Good Wife will now be the official “network” nominee, until something comes along to be on par w/cable, which this show tries, but are constraint by the power of the CBS.
Good stuff from both awards body.

Homeland, TGW, Breaking Bad, 30 Rock, Louie (even though i havent watched the seond season yet), Episodes, New Girl, Parks and Rec, Mildred Pierce…and “Queen of Jordan”? (I think I cried tears of happiness when I saw that inclusion) The 4 nominations for the Simpsons seem like much though.
Yeah…the WGA got it right IMO.
