So, i’m officially hooked after last Sunday’s episode! Billy Porter deliver what you call a classic emmy-winning performance! The rest of the cast is really starting to come into their own as well! Big shoutout to Janet Mock for her contribution! Can’t wait for the last episodes!

    Episode Title: “Pink Slip”

Synopsis: Blanca makes a startling revelation about Lil Papi that changes the House of Evangelista forever; Elektra rethinks her means of survival when the House of Abundance is evicted from their apartment.

    Discuss.

Porter’s best shot is a nod at the Globes and maybe SAG, but the Emmys will be stacked next year…I don’t see a path for him unless there’s like 8 nominees.

Pose will be getting a major push and he’s their only plausible acting nominee.

I agree. I’d bet Porter will be their only acting nominee (unless Meloni is guest eligible) and will even have a decent shot at a win.

I’m going to continue being pessimistic about this and assume it does absolutely nothing at the emmys except maybe something below the line, and even there I’m not sure what it could get into besides costumes and music supervision. Hopefully season 2 comes out before voting ends next year to keep it from being forgotten.

This episode was sad and sets up interesting twists for the finale and season two.

I’ve always said that in the Drama field only expect below-the-line techs. Even Porter will be snubbed come Emmy time next year. Anyways, fascinating episode. Sad plights seem to be in store for most going into the finale: Angel, Stan, Papi, Elektra, Pray Tell, Blanca. I thought that Papi would be killed off this episode, but I’m oddly glad that he wasn’t. Joining the House of Ferocity was a juicy plot twist lol. Those bitches didn’t! Kinda surprised that Stan even cleared out the furniture in Angel’s apartment. That was cold. The Mother of the Year Ball looks as grand as what we’ve been promised from the beginning, so hopefully that won’t disappoint. The summer won’t be the same without this.

I thought this was one of the weaker episodes overall, but still good, I think every episode this season has at least been decent.

I feel like Dominique Jackson is the weak link of the main cast so the episodes revolving mostly around her haven’t been as good.

Finale is gonna be a sad one.

My least favorite episode, but at Pulp said, still decent. This episode was weaker because Billy Porter was mostly absent. He is the show.

Binged this yesterday, PTL for DVR, and I’m hooked. So much good stuff here. Acting and writing can be sketchy at times but this is a show that’s IMPROVED since the pilot. Billy Porter is flawless. He won’t win an Emmy next year but deserves three for the work he’s doing. Special shout out to Rodriguez, Peters, and Moore. The world created here is an interesting one and I’m glad we’ll get a second season of this.

    Why so pessimistic?

Evan Peters and Indya Moore are the show.
