One of my favourite parts of the Emmys is all the new stats that come out afterwards! Everyone add a stat or record!

Peter Dinklage now has the highest (shared) Best Drama Supporting Actor wins, with three wins (2011, 2015, 2018)!

The only Series nominee that started 1990+ with two years of 0/5 major noms, and no major Emmy yet, is Stranger Things.

Comedy Series winners: The Big 4
    HBO
    Amazon
    Still no basic cable.

Drama Series winners: The Big 4 (counting KECATV as ABC)
    PBS (counting NET as PBS)
    HBO
    Showtime
    AMC
    Hulu

FX so far has: Louie, Atlanta, Damages, Americans.
Netflix so far has: Orange, Kimmy Schmidt, Master, Glow, House of Cards, Crown, Stranger Things.
    USA had Mr Robot.

Does Henry Winkler have some kind of record for longest wait for a win? First nomination in 1976. 42 years. (He has two daytime emmys I think).

RuPaul’s Drag Race made history as the first Reality Show to win Host and Series AND to also do it in the same year.

The show also went into the record books for having the most nominations for a Reality Program in a single year. 11 nods.

(Survivor won a Special Class award for the first season, but when Probst won for Host those four times, the show wasn’t even nominated for Reality Competition Program)

Marvelous Mrs Maisel has he record for most wins for a first year comedy. 8 wins.

Amy Sherman Palladino also has two records:
    – First woman to win Writing and Directing in the same year.
-Tied for Most Wins (4) in a single year with Moira Demos (from Making a Murderer).

Bob Newhart’s first nomination was 51 years before he finally won.

Most major wins without a Series win this century:
Crown ties for most for a Drama, 3. IIRC, with Boston Legal, Boardwalk Empire, Good Wife, & Damages

    Transparent/Malcolm/Bang – 4 each

I would like someone made a list of all the performers that won Trifecta (GG, SAG and Emmy) for the same performance. I know there are also people who won Quadfecta (those big three + TCA) i.e. Paul Giamatti, Sarah Paulson. Who’s gonna be that kind and do this for us?

    This please.

I’m bored so I’ll start by adding off the top of my head:
    Tina Fey (same year)
Alec Baldwin (multiples, got it once the same year)
Edie Falco (has multiples, got it once the same year for Whitecaps)
    Claire Foy
    Gillian Anderson (same year)
America Ferrera (same year and I think the only person to get it for a first season. Unless you wanna count Kidman as a first season now)
    James Gandolfini
    Helen Hunt
    Dennis Franz
Claire Danes (Homeland same year and Temple Grandin)
Nicole Kidman (not same year because of dates, but technically yes)
    Jessica Lange (AHS)

    This is the trifecta.

John Lithgow, 3rd Rock from the Sun
    Tony Shalhoub, Monk
    Kiefer Sutherland, 24
    Jeffrey Tambor, Transparent

    Women:
    Gillian Anderson, The X-Files
    Kathy Baker, Picket Fences
    Claire Danes, Homeland
    Edie Falco, The Sopranos
    Tina Fey, 30 Rock
    America Ferrera, Ugly Betty
    Claire Foy, The Crown

I hate when people put Critics Choice among other awards. They do not have any merit. I pretend they don’t even exist. They’re worthless.

tbh they’re sort of equivalent to People’s Choice & Teen Choice, so, they’re shit, lol
