It’s not like Last Man Standing is going to do as good as Roseanne.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine Rescued by NBC (!), Renewed for 13-Episode Season 6”

    http://tvline.com/2018/05/11/brooklyn-nine-nine-renewed-nbc-season-6/

I was so pissed at NBC earlier because they passed on what could have been a great show with network TV’s first brown female superhero, “The Greatest American Hero” reboot which would have starred Hannah Simone and been from the creator of Fresh off the Boat. Now, I’m less mad because they smartly rescued a popular show with a ton of loyal fans. Good for NBC on this one.

For your Goldderby Film Awards consideration: Isle of Dogs for every category, especially Music Score for Alexandre Desplat!

If Last Man standing can get a revival, I wonder what the chances are of this show people on the internet are trying to make happen again

Has anyone watched/is anyone watching The Terror? I’ve just seen ep 1 and it was so well crafted and so well executed from any point of view that I’m surprised it’s literally receiving zero attention. I’ve looked on IMDB and apparently it hasn’t received a single nomination in any kind of award yet – I expect that to change before the end of the year, some technical guild must recognize it. Judging from the first episode, it is something I’d recommend if you’re into horrors with a solid dramatic fundamentals (there wasn’t so much actual horror in ep 1 indeed, and I hope they keep it this way) and you don’t have problems with a quite slow pace.

Hey everybody! I’m making my personal awards soon, and I’m trying to catch up on everything first. I’ll try and watch every Emmy nominee first.  I absolutely love niche television (Horace and Pete, Rectify, The Leftovers, You’re the Worst)  and there hasn’t been as much of that this year with the exception of Killing Eve.

I was wondering if anybody had suggestions of shows I should watch and consider for my personal awards. They don’t even have to be American or even in English, as long as they aired somewhere within the last TV season. Any good television at all that has gone under the radar, please give me suggestions.

By under the radar show, I mean something like The Terror, just mentioned by Marco. I haven’t seen it yet (I’ll get to it, for Tobias Menzies alone), but it has great reviews and for some reason just flew right under.

@hunter-ish the only shows I watch that I think you might not have seen yet are Lady Dynamite and Girlfriends.

Many people praise The Expanse, so I beggining to watch and I am enjoying it a lot. It’s very well made, a little confuse sometimes, but gets better episode after episode.

I don’t know if you already watched Atypical or A Series of Unfortunate Events, but they are two great series that didn’t get a lot o attention on Netflix, just like One Day at Time.

The Good Fight is a series that if it was in another channel or streaming service would probably dominate the acting nomination.

Series that I don’t watch (yet) but I heard great things: Peaky Blinders, Victoria, The Magicians and Happy.

I have seen the first episode of Lady Dynamite, enjoyed it, and never got around to watching more.

    I have not seen Girlfriends.

I have also been meaning to see the Expanse.

I’ve seen the pilot episodes of The Good Fight and The Good Wife. I’ve been meaning to watch both. Do I need to watch Wife first to understand Fight?

I have seen Atypical and the first season of Unfortunate Events.

I have seen none of Peaky Blinders, Victoria, Happy, and The Magicians, but Happy and Peaky Blinders are definitely on my list.

Not really, but The Good Wife is a much better show so you should watch it too.

Okay, I’m shook. Is anyone familiar with the Teen Titans cartoon? Cause there’s gonna be a live-action series and I’m simply excited.

Unfortunate Events’s season two as a big improvement for me.

And like Pulp said, you can watch The Good Fight withtout TGW, but you need watch the latter just because is an awesome series and have one of best sequence of seasons ever (1-5). And The Good Fight season two is terrific.
