I did this as a poll before it was (rightly) shut down due to episode 8 not having aired yet.
Now Mrs. America is finished I will re-pose the question. Who would you vote for the win for out of the cast?
My pick? Byrne. But I would also nominate Aduba, Banks, Gaynor, Martindale, Paulson and Ullman on my ballot along with my other personal picks Emma Thompson, T’Nia Miller, Jessica Hynes, Toni Colette and Jean Smart.
FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", AMANDA SEYFRIED FOR "MANK", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).June 21, 2020 at 7:11 pm #1203545361This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.June 21, 2020 at 7:19 pm #1203545372
Ullman in that 3rd episode was really fantastic. Byrne and Martindale were good all season and Paulson shined near the end.
Went with Ullman because she was so freaking good.
Have a great day if you see this!
FYC: Anthony Hopkins- The Father
FYC: Chadwick Boseman - Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

I really liked Kayli Carter in this but why the hell is she winning the poll lolJune 21, 2020 at 7:48 pm #1203545389
Does every poll get bombed by trolls now? I loved Carter’s work but this isn’t realJune 21, 2020 at 8:53 pm #1203545465
I voted for Byrne. But I wouldn’t be mad with who ever in cast wins category. They all had their moments.June 22, 2020 at 2:06 am #1203545618
I’d go for Martindale> Paulson> Ullman> Byrne > Aduba > Graynor > Banks.
Aduba was great in her episode, as was Graynor but they both disappear after their respective showcases. Paulson and Martindale were consistently great and Ullman stole every scene she was in during the first four episodes. Byrne is great too, but I prefer the other three to her.June 22, 2020 at 2:10 am #1203545623

Nomination: Paulson, Martindale and Byrne
Win: Paulson (though it’d be between her and Toni Collette)

Without counting all the Kayli Carter troll votes, here is the tally so far :
Byrne – 16 votes
Paulson – 10 votes
Martindale – 9 votes
None of the cast – 3 votes
Uzo Aduba – 2 votes
Ari Gaynor – 2 votes
Tracey Ullman – 2 votes
The fact that only 3 people have vote for none of the cast whilst 16 have voted Byrne is making me consider whether she could actually take this after all (especially when her overdue narrative and the fact she’s playing Gloria Steinem are brought into play).
Maybe it is Byrne vs Collette after all?

It’s such a small sample it means nothing. I would say Byrne definitely stands a very good chance, but not because she received 16 votes in this poll.June 22, 2020 at 3:23 am #1203545660
I would want to Toni Collette to win, however if someone from Mrs. America needs to win it should be Paulson.
My lineup would be: Rose Byrne, Toni Collette, Margo Martindale, T’Nia Miller, Sarah Paulson, Emma Thompson.June 22, 2020 at 6:06 am #1203545741
See I thought Paulson was excellent but I voted Byrne because I think that with an extraordinarily difficult task in playing a well known real life figure she did actually deliver. And also because she has so many IOUs from her work on Damages whilst Paulson already has an Emmy.
I’m saying this as someone who usually roots for Paulson for every award ironically.
