Created by Taika Waititi and Sterlin Harjo. The series follows the lives of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma, as they spend their days committing crime, and fighting it.

Sterling Harjo makes it clear that #FXonHulu’s Reservation Dogs is a comedy with dramatic elements. The show also has an all-indigenous writers room, which has never been done before. #TCA21

The first two episodes were released today. 85 on Metacritic and 100% on Rotten.

The first two episodes were fine; I did not love it.

The ensemble is very good. My biggest problem is the lack of laughs, I think I only laughed twice in 54 minutes, but there’s certanly space for improvement here (or maybe this just isn’t my type of humor.)

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

I kind of feel the same (though their are much less funny comedies in comedy) but I think I will stick with it because it feels breezy enough

I feel the same way, this “breezy enough” thing reminds me of another FX comedy, Better Things.

Haven’t watched Reservation Dogs yet, however if it’s like Better Things I think I’m gonna love it.

Three episodes in and I’m finding this to be fine, and I’ll probably stick it out for at least the season, but I do have to say that D’Pharoah Woon-A-Tai has massive charisma and a great screen presence, and if this show can at least gain some industry cred, it should be a breakthrough performance to leads to even bigger things.

Zahn McClarnon is excellent on this show. I’m really enjoying the series so far.

I enjoy the show better when it focuses on the adults. The past two episodes Improved Bc main focus were the adults.

Is anyone else watching this? It just started over here and I’m two episodes in and absolutely loving it. It’s fitting the Atlanta shaped hole in my life haha.

I have like two episodes to go, it’s such a nice vibe.

It would be nice if it made awards but even if it doesn’t it’s a great hang.

I’m so used to post-streaming shows non-broadcast taking 2.5 years off, I’ve been shocked that Dogs, WWDITS and OMITB are all coming less than a year after airing.
