Olivia De Havilland is snatching Ryan Murphy’s wig.
It’s “Feud: Olivia and FX.”
On the eve of her 101st birthday, two-time Oscar winner Olivia de Havilland has announced she is suing FX and producer Ryan Murphy over the unauthorized use of her identity in “Feud: Bette and Joan,” according to a statement released Friday morning.
Has anyone checked on the Lange fan?

I don’t see how this will hurt Feud’s chances at the Emmys.June 30, 2017 at 3:39 pm #1202138508
This obviously won’t affect the show in regards to the Emmy nominations, although it could badly hurt it as far as wins are concerned, considering what a LEGEND Olivia De Havilland is. It will be interesting to see the outcome of this lawsuit.June 30, 2017 at 3:44 pm #1202138509
Well, she’s not in the wrong. Especially if they never approached her to begin with. I don’t think it’ll change anything, nominations-wise, but you never know.
Also, I believe he was banned.June 30, 2017 at 3:44 pm #1202138510
I don’t know if this will have much affect on anything.June 30, 2017 at 4:59 pm #1202138521
Voting has already ended and Feud was probably never going to win anything other than directing and Supporting Actress in the Primetime Emmys so everything is the same I think.June 30, 2017 at 5:23 pm #1202138528
Were Feud an actual good show this would elevate its chances for multiple big wins. Instead I can only see it winning technical categories if it doesn’t have a greater rival in the showy department.June 30, 2017 at 6:53 pm #1202138585
Judy Davis is leading the odds for the category. I do not have her getting nominated.June 30, 2017 at 11:27 pm #1202138695
I have so many thoughts about this issue. Regarding the Emmy chances, I think it wouldn’t hurt that much especially that the voting for nominations are over but, also, this issue could make them vulnerable on chances of winning. But, let’s see if Olivia de Havilland can still impact Hollywood. I mean there could be like another de Havilland Law for portrayal of real-life figures in Hollywood biopics and shows if she wins the case. Or maybe FX and Ryan Murphy will just give her the money.June 30, 2017 at 11:30 pm #1202138696
FX and Murphy should release a statement know to preserve Zeta-Jones work and honor. She was pretty good in the show.June 30, 2017 at 11:47 pm #1202138700

That’s crazy! She stole every scene she was in as the wickedly manipulative Hedda Hopper! I liked her better than Lange and even Sarandon! I’ll be genuinely surprised if she loses to anyone, except Laura Dern, since she is such a legend and has had such and acclaimed year in Television.July 1, 2017 at 3:40 am #1202138816

I agree. I have a scenario in my mind in which Catherine Zeta-Jones found out about this. Then, she told her father-in-law Kirk Douglas about it. Then, she will ask him if he could talk to Olivia de Havilland (like in a phone call or something) and settle this issue.
