I saw this and wondered if it was Cecily’s last episode. A passing of the baton, so to speak.

Love ATJ, but she’s an odd choice to end the season on. Though not as odd a choice as, say, Elon Musk.

Wonder if we’ll be getting any cast departure news soon.

Did anyone else think Elon Musk was hilarious? I thought it was the best episode of the season so far. I’d give Musk an Emmy nom.

This show desperately needs a turnover and a ton of new life and energy, but I’d hate to watch any of the current cast members have such a disappointing season as their finale.

Emmys FYC: Maya Erskine in PEN15, Paapa Essiedu in I May Destroy You, Keeley Hawes in It's a Sin, Carl Lumbly in TFATWS, Cristin Milioti in Made for Love, Elizabeth Olsen in WandaVision, Billie Piper in I Hate Suzie, Hailee Steinfeld in Dickinson, William Zabka in Cobra Kai

Loveddd the “Murdur Durdur” sketch lmao! “Mare of Easttown” has finally arrived! They’ve really dragged Kate Winslet recently with this and “Lesbian Period Drama.” Did she run over one of the writers’ puppies or something? As for Elon Musk, whatever. He tempered expectations with his monologue. If he bombs, it’s b/c of the Aspergers. If he succeeds, it’s in spite of the Aspergers. B/c the last time “SNL” tried to humanize an eccentric billionaire, that really worked out swimmingly for the world. They’re desperate for the ratings, apparently. Miley’s songs were both middling. Nice opener with the Mother’s Day tribute. And CHAD lol.

I’m probably gonna sit this one out down to the Musk of it all, though I’ll probably watch the Miley performances – are there any sketches worth catching up on?

This actually was a good episode. He came across as likeable and willing. AND he was funny. Go figure. My grade: B+

Two more chances, but the highest rated ep this season is only at 7.2 on imdb.

    2020 Eddie Murphy 8.9, Driver/Mulaney 7.8
    2019 Adam Sandler 8.4, Mulaney 8.2
    2018 Bill Hader 8.1, Glover 8.0
    2017 Tom Hanks/Dave Chappelle 8.1
    2016 Larry David 8.2, Grande 8.0
    2015 Bill Hader 8.2, Johnson 8.1
    2014 Jimmy Fallon 8.8, Samberg 8.2
    2013 Justin Timberlake 8.6, MacFarlane 7.9
    2012 Jimmy Fallon 8.4, Rudolph 8.1
2011 Justin Timberlake 8.4; a few at 7.4 but Poehler has the highest avg mean/median

Well I guess 2011 came close, with only one 7.5+ but it was a ways above that.
