Roland is annoying, but Chris Elliot is a great actor.January 28, 2020 at 11:40 am #1203316888
I love this. Catherine O’Hara has to win an Emmy this year.January 28, 2020 at 7:51 pm #1203317715

Catherine O’Hara shined in this episode. I loved her reactions to the “Crows” trailer, especially how Jocelyn didn’t like it lol. Stevie and Alexis competing for maid-of-honor duties was cute. I wanted more of a punch with Johnny and Roland’s thread at the new motel, but funny episode otherwise.January 30, 2020 at 5:06 pm #1203320782
There are so many aspects of this series that are so great but ultimately I just don’t think it ever rises to the top tier level of the best of what’s out there. I just don’t see it even really coming close to winning series even in this barren field, especially when voters can easily go back to Maisel which the industry clearly still loves.January 30, 2020 at 5:21 pm #1203320796
It’ll be a shame if Annie Murphy is overlooked. She has been exceptional so far in the final season.February 4, 2020 at 10:22 am #1203329634
Episode Title: “The Premiere”
Synopsis: Alexis plans a local premiere for the Crows movie, and Moira makes a big splash on the red carpet. Meanwhile, David tends to Patrick after his wisdom teeth removal.

Completely hilarious episode. The red carpet scene was so funny and Moira was stunning.February 5, 2020 at 11:06 am #1203331257
Ugh, Catherine O’Hara is just so so good in this showFebruary 5, 2020 at 2:58 pm #1203331746
Loved this episode! The continued character development of the main ensemble is great to see. Moira’s red carpet disaster was hilarious, and Patrick all loopy on anesthesia was an excellent showcase for Noah Reid. Really enjoying the season so far!February 12, 2020 at 4:00 pm #1203344799
JAKE!!! That alone elevates this episode tremendously, as I love any showcases the show gives for that eye candy dolt lol. I was hoping that Stevie got back together with him, but this was an interesting way to bring him back with a possible three-way with David and Patrick, but of course it’s not that simple, is it? Really liked seeing Alexis have some success finally with Moira’s movie PR. As nice as it is to see some side characters get attention at the end like Ronnie and Bob, it took away vital time from the other storylines. This is only 22 minutes with commercials, and that never feels like enough for this show. I wish they were on Netflix exclusively and extend to 35-40 minutes per episode.February 19, 2020 at 8:19 am #1203351902
Loved last night’s episode. I adored the Johnny/Patrick scenes.
One of my favorite episodes from this season.February 19, 2020 at 4:11 pm #1203352709
Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara had some beautiful moments in this week’s episode. O’Hara’s were a bit more obvious but really sweet, while Levy beautifully underplayed the whole story and brought that much more warmth to the whole thing. I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the final season!February 21, 2020 at 4:28 pm #1203355869
My favorite thread was the “Gsteway” scenes lmao. Annie Murphy’s comic timing is so superb it’s ridiculous. I want her nodded in supporting actress so badly! I’m really hoping that last yearns Emmy breakthrough signals more acting nods this time around beyond Levy and O’Hara. Daniel Levy has to get in for something, acting or writing, whatever. Murphy and Emily Hampshire would both make excellent supporting actress nominees. The rosé tasting with Moira and David were fun. I kinda wanted more slapsticky antics there once they became drunk trying to find the perfect combination. The “talk” between Johnny and Patrick was sweet. Halfway point of the season! Sad face.
