I legitimately cannot wait to see what Dan Levy does after this show is over, as an actor and a writer. Noah Reid has also had a really great season.

Nice finale. The penultimate episode was better, but I generally liked the way things ended here. This show rarely goes for the season finale cliffhangers, which I respect. I really wanted to see how the “Cabaret” production turned out, so I was happy with those scenes. I’ll say it again that Emily Hampshire is one of the unsung heroes of this show and should be acknowledged as such. So much Fosse realness lately with this and “Fosse/Verdon” lol! Who knew? Emmys talk, I really hope this is at least Daniel Levy’s Emmy breakthrough in writing. Submit “The Hike” ONLY, please! I’ve abandoned any hope for comedy series, Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara (who truly rivals Queen Julia this year for the win), supporting nods, or tech nods. All would be deserving. Sad that the season ended so fast. It took some time to build up its momentum. I might have enjoyed stretches better if I binged them as usual on Netflix, but I couldn’t wait that long. Onto the final season, sniff, sniff!

I adore JLD but she has 11 Emmys and I don’t see anybody doing anything near as funny as what Legend O’Hara did with that freaking crows episode (or frankly her performance across the last FIVE seasons) and it would be one of the most deserved wins ever.

The crows episode should win Catherine O’Hara the Emmy outright.

Amen to this because Catherine O’Hara can say a line and give it life. I appreciate that the writing in Schitt’s Creek does not rely on vulgar language in order to get a laugh. I have always preferred Catherine O’Hara to Julia Louis Dreyfuss. Catherine should have two Emmys for this role.

Robin Duke as Wendy from the old Blouse Barn should get nominated as Guest Actress in a Comedy Series

POP sent out an Emmy screener – yay! But the episodes they chose to put within it are bizarre – surely Meet the Parents should have been top of the list.

“The Crowening” is a series highlight for Catherine O’Hara, and “The Hike” was a big episode (and likely the writing contender) for Dan Levy. I think those episode choices make sense.
