I loved this show…..saying that I don’t want a reboot. I like how it ended and it should be left at that.

If Murphy is able/planning to put it on Netflix (now that he’s left Fox) it could be huge.
donating it towards feeding starving kids in Africa? Or feeding starving kids in Detroit, Michigan? Or feeding starving kids in general?
There is nothing that is made in Hollywood that is more important than these things. Your point is moot.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 4, 2019 at 10:52 am #1202761118Shows generally get cancelled for a reason and this does not strike me as an exceptional case. Of course the cast and crew wants work, but why would a network want to pay them? I would watch of course.

February 4, 2019 at 11:00 am #1202761130I’d love to see a reboot or revival or whatever. Hester, all the Chanels, DENISE HEMPFIELD. Chad Radwell. And get Nick Jonas back on, please.

Now that he signed a Netflix deal I imagine it would probably continue on there.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 4, 2019 at 3:29 pm #1202761467I see this as a slightly exceptional case to my typical thoughts on cancelled shows given that the demographic it was aimed at (and was watched by) was not that of Fox anymore. I mean I remember all the buzz it had and then it debuted with 4 million viewers essentially because no one outside 16-35 year olds was watching. The attention the show could even get from this demographic on Fox was also limited as much of this age range consumes television by streaming now. I agree it makes no sense for Fox to want it back but the show seems like the kind of thing Netflix could make work. I also think the style of the show works better as bingeable television.

Its series premiere ratings was probably the biggest ratings shocker in recent years. Everyone thought it would premiere BIG.
