I truly enjoyed the first 2 seasons of HTGAWM, and Viola has continued to be kick-ass on that series. Her missing Lead Drama Actress this year was a shock for me, but Drama has become so competitive, I can understand. I believe that a show like HTGAWM, which is filled with many emotions would do really well as a limited series personally. I think the cast would do well with nominations in the limited series categories as well. I think marketing would be great for the show as well. The views are going down each season, and I feel it might be due to the amount of episodes. Writers can easily come up with some of the most fun, crazies ideas if it was a limited series, instead of a full drama series. Of course this is how I feel personally.

    What do you guys think?

BTW, I know that is is somewhat limited with 15 episodes, but I was thinking 6/7 episodes.

    Little late.

Good to see that polls are working again. I had been holding off on doing one.

Nah, I’ve only seen a couple of the Emmy-nominated episodes but I would think that a TV Movie to wrap up the show when it ends seems on the surface like a solid idea. I wish Game of Thrones was ending with a theatrically released movie, but oh well, only in my dreams I guess.

For your Goldderby Film Awards consideration: Isle of Dogs for every category, especially Music Score for Alexandre Desplat!

Absolutely not. The reason I love is show is how interconnected the seasons have been. Viola and all of these actors have established these characters over time, so beautifully. Being a limited series wouldn’t allow them to do it.

Supposedly season 5 is a return to form. Let’s just hope for that.

I love the idea of HTGAWM having shorter seasons to scrape out the filler but no way in hell should it be a limited series

As you’ve mentioned, England, Viola has continued to kick ass, and unfortunately, some of the other actors would never get their just desserts from award bodies, either. But, god no, no limited series at this point….

If the plan is to make it a Limited Series, that means that season will be its last, much like 24 or The Big C. Voters aren’t aware of that show that much anymore, whatever they do, I think it’s pretty much done with the Emmys.

No one is planning for it to become a limited series. This post is just someone wondering what we think about it.

I just meant that this is ENGLAND’s “plan” and the subject of this thread for it to become a limited series, not that it’s actually happening.

I think HBO once said that Game of Thrones won’t have a theatrical movie release because they felt it would be unfair and wrong to their viewers (legal).

I love the show, but im not sure that a limited series would do it  justice. Nevertheless, I would really like to see the number of episodes per season reduced, there’s way too much filler content.
