It’s impossible to watch all the nominees, but the Emmy nominees often shine a light on some shows we’ve missed out on.

So what shows are you now/planning on watching since the Emmy nominations were revealed?

And what ones do you recommend to others that we might have missed out on?

I’m already working my way through Schitt’s Creek (and loving it).

Barry S2 was on my list anyway, but definitely risen since the noms.

    Recommended to others:
    Fleabag

Ozark is so good. Second season is even better, but the first episodes of season one are kinda ok. Laura Linney and Julia Garner are outstanding, the whole cast is

On the drama category I’m watching Ozark, almost finishing and loving it. Bodyguard I didn’t watch yet, but I pretend to watch and Succession I only watch 3 episodes last year and I didn’t like it, but I will give another chance to the show. The rest of the category I watched. My recomendations: Ozark and Pose.

On the comedy category, I really want to watch Schitt’s Creek. The rest I already watched. My recomendations: The Good Place and Fleabag and I also really liked the final season of Veep, but I think that a lot of people already watched.

On the limited series category, I started Fosse/Verdon and Chernobyl, I pretend to finish them soon. And my recomendation is, for me, the best show of 2019 so far: When They See Us. So good! Escape at Dannemora is good entertainment too, and Sharp Objects I didn’t like that much.

Season one was a Bateman showcase and season two was the same for Linney, and I’m going to have to say: she completely snapped. Her monologues were amazing, especially in the finale. She was like a drug cartel version of Claire Underwood. I would love it if she were to win the Emmy (it would definitely be one of the best wins). If you like Linney, this show is good enough to watch just for her.

I don’t really ever watch all the shows in the lineups because that means weeks at a time I’d have to spend catching up (sometimes longer if I’m seasons behind). But shows that are for sure on my watchlist are: Barry, Fleabag, The Good Place (season 3), Pose, and Schitt’s Creek.

My recommendations would be: Chernobyl, Ozark, Sharp Objects, When They See Us, and Veep (especially the finale).

“No user starts this shady” - someone culturally relevant.

My watchlist is pretty much unchanged by the nominations:

    – Finish Barry
    – Finish Gentleman Jack
    – Finish Escape at Dannemora
    – Brexit
    – Fosse/Verdon
    – Mrs Wilson

The nominations made me check out only one show – Dead to Me, and Applegate in indeed amazing in it (Cardelini too). I had already watch every show that got 5 or more nominations.

I saw the nominated episode of PEN15 (episode 9) and I was thought it was good but it doesn’t deserve to be amongst the other nominees. It was well written, but the very nature of the show, and its leads, made it a confusing viewing (but funny nonetheless)

I’m currently watching Ozark Season 2. I started When They See Us last night but didn’t finish the first episode. I might continue, but it was just a lot to handle.

Can you ranker the series from the 3 main categories in your opinion? Just for curiosity.
