No, she received her only Emmy nod for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for Season 1.
No, Jane received her only nomination for season 1. I am joking.
You are correct in that she did get nominated only for season 1 for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. As I posted in another thread, I have not had my coffee yet.May 20, 2020 at 7:41 am #1203491401
There’s so many…
Courteney Cox in Friends is definitely a standout for me. I didn’t really watch Friends in its original run (I was a kid back then), but catching up with it later I was really shocked when I discovered she’d never been nominated.
Recent cases that come to mind are:
Rutina Wesley, True Blood
Nelsan Ellis, True Blood
Dave Annable, Brothers & Sisters
Matthew Rhys, Brothers & Sisters
Zack Gilford, Friday Night Lights
Michael B. Jordan, Friday Night Lights
Taylor Kitsch, Friday Night Lights
Wanda Sykes, The New Adventures of Old Christine
Brie Larson, United States of Tara
Justin Kirk, Weeds
Nick Offerman, Parks and Recreation
Adam Scott, Parks and Recreation
Sara Ramirez, Grey’s Anatomy
Dean Norris, Breaking Bad
Betsy Brandt, Breaking Bad
I will heavily agree with Dave Annable on Brothers & Sisters. He had a story arc in either season 2 or 3 with drug addiction. If he were nominated for Supporting Actor Drama, then that would have been insane because he would made it very competitive for the 2008 or 2009 Emmys. I can’t remember which season, but I was very disappointed when he was not nominated.
On a side note, Dave Annable popped up on an episode of This Is Us and woof – he is hotter now than he was on Brothers & SistersMay 20, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203491415
If we had to say the absolute worst of the ones that were snubbed from the Emmys, then it would be Gavin MacLeod from Mary Tyler Moore.
Not only did he get snubbed, but all of his costars won Emmys except for Georgia Engel. That is nothing but snubbing and shade.
Courtney’s snub was a major sting, but it would have been worse if everyone/mostly everyone nominated had won the Emmy.May 20, 2020 at 8:12 am #1203491478
Game of Thrones: Imagine if the first four seasons got the same nomination tally as the last four seasons. We could have had Michelle Fairley, Charles Dance, Natalie Dormer, Jack Gleeson even Mark Addy with nominations.e of the leads and the ladies in Guest.
The fact that Charles Dance and Michelle Fairley couldn’t get nominated after giving master classes in acting while Sophie Turner got name checked for doing absolutely nothing will never not bother me.
Also, it’s a shame Sean Bean was only in that first season before the show picked up more with actors. He wasn’t a big leading role, but he was exceptional.May 20, 2020 at 8:42 am #1203491554
Look I know that HIMYM was never a huge Emmy acting player with only Neil Patrick Harris being nominated, however, the fact that Jason Segel never got nominated was criminal. He was the heart and soul of that season.
Also, Rhea Seehorn hasn’t yet been nominated for Better Call Saul is a crime, but I think that will soon change, not this year but defiantly next time its eligible afterwardsMay 20, 2020 at 8:52 am #1203491575

I hope this year Rhea Seehorn get her respective due by The Emmys it’s time…May 20, 2020 at 9:17 am #1203491603
Eva Longoria for Desperate Housewives s1May 20, 2020 at 9:34 am #1203491617
Most of mine have been mentioned so I will throw in:
Pedro Pascal, Game of Thrones
Josh Holloway, Lost
Maggie Siff, Mad MenMay 23, 2020 at 12:58 am #1203496573
Seriously, what the fuck? She should have won twice. They nominated Michael C. Hall five freaking times, the show four times, John Lithgow won, Jimmy Smits and Julia Stiles were nominated, but they never nominated Deb? They nominated Sharon Gless in Burn Notice over the above clip! And Hall won SAG and the Globe for that season.May 23, 2020 at 9:29 am #1203496933
Eva Longoria for Desperate Housewives s1
To be fair, Eva Longoria did not deserve to be nominated for season one. The other nominees to round out the top 5 were Jane Kaczmarek from Malcolm In the Middle and Patricia Heaton from Everybody Loves Raymond.
I thought they tried to up Eva’s material in order to get her nominated and Eva did improve.
