Only women deserve awards unless the men are hot so:

    Christine Baranski
    Angela Bassett
Olivia Colman (but for Broadchurch and Fleabag, she unfortunately has not been the best for The Crown even if underrated there)
    Frances Conroy
    Sarah Michelle Gellar
    Lena Headey
    Angela Lansbury
    Sandra Oh
    Issa Rae
    Kerry Washington
    Robin Wright

Those who didn’t deserve an Emmy or some of the multiple they received:

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul (I said what I said)
    Peter Dinklage
    Cherry Jones
    Margo Martindale

    Olivia Colman (but for Broadchurch

    The taste.

The one that already should have easily won at least twice.

Kathy Bates winning over her for Coven was a (bad) choice.

Kathryn Hahn only have one Emmy nomination and zero wins is a travesty when she was win worthy with Mrs Fletcher

FYC Emmys: Get MJ Rodriguez that deserved WIN! And some votes for Elizabeth Olsen, Tobias Menzies and Matthew Rhys will be highly tasteful as well

I am a huge Thrones fan and Dinklage winning four drives me nuts. One or two sure.

His S5 & S7 wins were so unnecessary.

    Urgh, don’t remind me.

She was also win worthy (multiple times) for the iconic Jen Barkley, probably could’ve been as well if the Academy knew Parks existed outside of Poehler.

    Jen Barkley

    Olivia Colman (but for Broadchurch

At least she got something for DS Ellie Miller

And S8 too? I still laugh at how he lost for s6 when that was easily his best season after the show outpaced the books but won for s5, s7 and s8 when he had nothing to do in them and was outshined by his co-stars (Allen in s8, Coster-Waldau in s7, tragically snubbed Stephen Dillane in s5).

I wouldn’t complain if his four wins were for the first four seasons though, that’d be pretty cool.

    Emmys FYC: Jean Smart.

Sarah Michelle Gellar should have 7 Emmys on her shelf for Buffy. Especially for season 5… Both her and Robin Williams should have also been nominated for The Crazy Ones. The chemistry they had together as a father-daughter duo was just perfect.

Buffy itself was done so dirty at the Emmys, it deserved so much more than just a writing nod (and a deserved one for one of the best TV episodes of all time). Seasons 2, 3, 5 and 6 are easily some of the best out there. (S4 finale too, phenomenal ending to a meh season).

    Emmys FYC: Jean Smart.

7 in particular is just nonsense – his submission is a Coster Waldau/Headey showpiece.

I am very inclined to think there will be redux on that post Thrones, ala Cuoco (who I don’t even think was ever nominated despite Parsons) post Big Bang. Particularly with Headey.

He was a very deserving winner for season 1, 2 and 4. And yes, he losing for season 6 and winning every other season of the second half of the show is insane, it was easily his best performance in GOT last years.

He didn’t do much of anything in Season 6 though. Cunningham was the clear standout that year imo. At least in 8 he clearly was the only one still trying in the Bran the Broken scene.

Dinklage definitely didn’t deserve it for 5 and 7 though. 5 was a clear makeup for his loss for 4, but him beating Matt Smith in 2018 is just inexcusable.

    Dear Emmys Voters

Television has never been better and it’s a pandemic year.

How was she the upset for John Adams when she and the show won everything?
