Is Toss A Coin to your Witcher on there?

    I stupidly closed the link.
But I can say like 99% sure that there was a Witcher song on the ballot.

    FYC Emmys 2020:
Sienna Miller - The Loudest Voice
    Anne Hathaway - Modern Love
    Zoë Kravitz - High Fidelity

    Central Park submitted 3 songs:

“Own It” (Kate Anderson & Elyssa Samsel)

“Do It While We Can” (Brent Knopf)

“Weirdos Make Great Superheroes” (Sara Bareilles)

Are any of those a particular stand out?

Yes, I’d bet on “Weirdos Make Great Superheroes” making it before the others.

It’s a nice moment for the character. Plus, Sara is the biggest name and was nominated last year for co-writing the Tonys opening number.

What was the last time that the two frontrunners of a category were not submitted? Happy that Danny McBride will finally be an Emmy nominee.

I imagine that On A Roll was ineligible because it’s not really an original song but still stumped about L to the OG.

Rooting for “All For us” (best song here, let’s be real), “Memorized”, “One Less Angel”, “Jail” and “The Weeknd’s Dark Secret”.

Mmhh the length of Lil Dicky’s “Jail” though… it’s like 10 minutes! This is a very very interesting song and I hope they judge these based on the context of the episode or scene they are presented in. That song can win this if voters are open- minded.

Since Succession is out of the race, I’m fully rooting for “Misbehavin” be great to see “Emmy Nominee” Danny McBride. Also, the song is wonderful and perfectly used in the show.

This race for the first time is based on a popular vote by the entire Academy instead of a selective process specifically by the music branch. Visibility will be everything and the most popular shows will get in.

I’m not sure if The Righteous Gemstones has enough viewers to secure a nom.

I think shows like The Late Late Show with James Cordon and SNL will do the best here. Euphoria, This is Us and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are all big enough shows to potentially breakthrough. RuPaul’s Drag Race is another popular show that could stand out.

I’m not sure how many voters will have watched animated fair (American Dad) or Disney programs (High School Musical, Descendants 3), for those to be considered, but they deserve notice.

It’ll be interesting to see who actually ends up with a nomination in this category this year.

I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before but at some point we had a whole separate prediction game just for the creative arts and pretty sure this category was available. Not sure if that is in the words again this year but would be fun. I’d say One Less Angel, All for Us, and Witcher are the frontrunners but not sure what I’d slot in after. Probably something funny.

You’re most probably right about the Righteous Gemstones but I’m gonna hold out a little hope. Does anyone know how many nominees this category will have?

    13. “Gay Spirit” — Independent Spirit Awards

That deserves a nomination purely for the recitation of the lyrics “Laura Dern”.

FYC Emmys : Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve"), Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials"), Russell Tovery ("Years and Years"), Helena Bonham Carter ("The Crown") & The Crown, His Dark Materials, Years and Years, Succession and The Affair in all categories. The Politician : Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bette Midler and Judith Light.

FYC Goldderby Awards : MAURA TIERNEY AND DOMINIC WEST FOR THE FINAL SEASON OF THE AFFAIR
