Love how Noah Schnapp made a great impression in Season 1 before totally disappearing, but they gave him fantastic material in Season 2. What I love even more is that afterwards, they totally abandoned him again in Season 3!
Great season, but if there’s a younger performance they want to highlight it should really be him and not Millie Bobby Brown.July 9, 2019 at 10:15 am #1202967940
Erica isn’t a groundbreaking character or performance, but she’s fun comedic relief. Not bad, not amazing, just entertaining. I enjoyed her addition, but I definitely wouldn’t throw her any awards.July 9, 2019 at 1:36 pm #1202968213
Priah Ferguson is also the youngest actor on the show, so it makes sense that she would be the least talented, compelling or experienced. However, her character is supposed to be a smart-mouthed brat, and she played the part well.July 9, 2019 at 1:52 pm #1202968250
Ignoring the tired derogatory (which does not even apply – I’m not a Stalinist), I do find myself laughing at this. Yes, I am a socialist. Can you blame me, Mister? I am really not sure how anyone can defend capitalism at this point.
Nah you’re right, capitalism sucks booty (I’m an anarchist myself), but Stranger Things has never been any more political than the 80’s films it’s inspired by.
Also, I disagree that Schnapp had no material. He had less than Matarazzo, but he’s still one of the standouts.July 9, 2019 at 2:02 pm #1202968288
He had material in the earlier episodes but then sort of fell off. It’s frustrating because I found that arc very sweet and sincere (not growing up as fast as his friends/maybe even coming to terms with his sexuality?????) but it makes sense that it fell off as the season went on. Unlike Mike, Will didn’t seem t0o consumed with the minor interpersonal drama while a demon monster was threatening to kill everyone. [Minor Spoiler] I am excited to see more of the Will/Eleven dynamic next year.July 9, 2019 at 5:55 pm #1202968597
S3 is probably one of my favorite seasons ever.July 9, 2019 at 7:00 pm #1202968694
I think people like to hate on Millie Bobby Brown just because she has received the most awards attention out of the kids, but damn if she doesn’t deserve it. I think she’s phenomenal in this role and the standout among the kids, at least this season.July 9, 2019 at 7:45 pm #1202968721
MBBs voice work is really great. It’s not just that her native accent doesn’t come out, but she actually speaks in a completely different tone than she does in real life, and has also shown Elevens evolved articulation in a way that makes sense dating back to season 1July 9, 2019 at 8:01 pm #1202968734
Harbour and Brown are both absolutely fantastic. Dacre Montgomery was the standout for me without a doubt though. This was my favorite season so far.
Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, SurvivorJuly 9, 2019 at 8:39 pm #1202968761

Actually, I read somewhere that people hate her because of her interviews where she seems full of herself.July 9, 2019 at 9:32 pm #1202968845
She have 15 years old! It is fucking ridiculous hate a girl just because the way she talk in interviews. Get a life.
She was incredible in this season and Eleven is just amazing.July 10, 2019 at 1:17 am #1202969095
