Don’t compare Stranger Things with Game of Thrones. The latter skipped a season and returned with 20+ nominations. Stranger Things lost half its nominations for the second season. At this point, Netflix should be smarter and focus their Emmy campaigning on other shows.December 10, 2018 at 4:41 am #1202696302
I think Stranger Things will be eligible this season. Netflix could still drop it in May, which IS summer season. They released HoC S5 on the last day of eligibility. ST saw a huge drop in nominations. Does Netflix really want ST to skip a year when they can just release it probably a month earlier to make it eligible?December 18, 2018 at 9:55 am #1202705201

Also Game of Thrones is betterDecember 18, 2018 at 11:28 am #1202705286
There’s definitely no point comparing GoT and Stranger Things , but I do think no matter what, their chances of winning any given award would be much higher in 2020 than against the final season of GoT. I’m not sure Netflix would do something like that, but I do think HBO should postpone Big Little Lies to the second half of the year otherwise they’ll go home almost empty handed in 2020… and we already have True Detective and Sharp Objects cancelling each other this year on mini series, no need for such thing in the Drama race too

I haven’t watched the show in so long so I can’t totally remember but they seem to be advertising it with a lighter tone than before.
Also, there was one clip of Noah Schnapp crying so that’s enough to convince me I may stan him for 2020 just because I’m still upset with his snub last year.March 20, 2019 at 5:45 am #1202822842This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.March 20, 2019 at 7:00 am #1202822937
They better not kill Steve. #hairgoalsMarch 20, 2019 at 7:24 am #1202822975
This looks amazing! The colors are phenomenally good, and it’s so visually gorgeous! That one shot of Erica in the ventilation system with the flashlight helmet has already made her my favorite part of the season. Third seasons of things are dangerous, but based on what we’ve seen, this could be the best season yet! Between this, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and The Farewell with Awkwafina, I’m going to be having the best birthday week ever 🙂March 20, 2019 at 7:56 am #1202823061
I really ride for this show and this trailer was fucking everything. I love the new colors and vibe, and the summer setting (as I predicted on this thread last year) is bringing a totally new energy to this series. I seriously cannot wait.March 20, 2019 at 8:14 am #1202823083
It seems Steve will be beaten up again this season. LMFAO.
This looks amazing btw.March 20, 2019 at 9:23 am #1202823127
Um yes, my non-existent wig has been snatched up. The trailer was fantastic but they really should’ve kept that final shot of the monster to themselves. The visuals are through-the-roof amazing. Also glad that the turtle is back. And I don’t know if I’ll be able to get drunk on the Fourth of July because I’m too busy watching this or get drunk while watching this.
