T7 wins in the 3 genres: 2020 HBO 10, Netflix 2 2019 HBO 7, Netflix 3 2018 Netflix 6, HBO 5 2017 HBO 8, Netflix 3 Netflix at a 4 year low while HBO at a 4 year high.
With its record low # of wins, I’m seeing that Netflix loves to campaign about how many nominations it gets but turns quiet once the actual wins happen. Quality>Quantity is something they should think about moving forwards honestly.September 20, 2020 at 9:48 pm #1203724349
Can a comedy come from 0 wins to exploding all over the place and knocking Maisel down to a distant runner-up for the third year in a row?September 20, 2020 at 9:57 pm #1203724371
What We Do in the Shadows probably could. Pen15 as well.
EDIT: Wait! forgot the obvious one: InsecureSeptember 20, 2020 at 10:00 pm #1203724376
The question would be if Maisel will be ready to be considered for 2021. They haven’t announced start date of filming.September 21, 2020 at 12:10 am #1203724549
Nice to know This Is Us is going into production this week, Sterling hinted it at the Emmys!September 21, 2020 at 12:28 am #1203724570

I’m new to the emmys and I wanna ask why the tape system is no longer the basis of judging? I mean television academy has the laziest members
Olivia Colman better hope Zendaya doesn’t return on time.
IMO, Zendaya really just had the buzz this time. Aside from her performance, she’s an ultra celebrity with an upcoming blockbuster. Not to mention her and HBOs heavy campaigning. She won’t repeat. It’s Olivia Colman and Laura Linney’s final seasons and for sure their campaigns will be hot.
Succesion, Ozark, and The Crown are the only shows that are hyped right now before they even get released. It will be explosive.September 21, 2020 at 2:27 am #1203724670
So Rob is saying The Crown season 4 is “WOW”…
They hyped up season 3 too to the point where I had super high expectations going in and was disappointed (I enjoyed it, don’t get me wrong but it is easily the weakest season they’ve done yet). Hopefully S4 hype is realSeptember 21, 2020 at 2:33 am #1203724678
Are we really going to hype up Olivia AGAIN before the season comes out? This happened last year! Please stop! Let’s just wait until we see her performance.September 21, 2020 at 3:03 am #1203724717

Gosh calm down Luca I was just posting a tweet that was the closest to a review possible.
Gosh sometimes you really do the most.

Wolfali, I was not even responding to you. You’d get a notification if I was. I did not even see your comment, in fact. I know you’re trying to level the same words at me that I levelled at you, but pls just stop.September 21, 2020 at 3:19 am #1203724735
Yeah but did anyone hype up her performance? Did anyone say it was going to be undeniable or anything? No. It was just some people were saying that they think she COULD win.
And anyhow even if they did how is it any different than you saying she won’t win unless she “really delivers” in performance. I mean that’s like trying to create bad buzz for a performance in a season that hasn’t been seen yet.
Anyway I’ll leave it there.
