The Good Lord Bird now premieres August 9th.

I liked the trailer. Ethan Hawke is easily getting into GG.

Lol I completely forgot about this one. Wasn’t it supposed to premiere in March or April?

    I’ll still watch it.

Okay, nevermind. I just saw the trailer and it looks awful.

Deadline: UK Government Says TV & Film Shoots Can Resume Once Producers Put Safety Plans In Place.

Hopefully a positive sign that at least we could have some UK shows ready for the end of the year.

Another step made by the UK government to really extend the virus in their nation. It isn’t enough they have packed out the public transports after forcing people to work.

I know The Crown season four is ready (yay) but I hope Netflix does the sensible thing and delays production season five due to the virus. It is the sensible thing to do and it’s not as if The Crown has already been delayed due to a cast change anyway.

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", AMANDA SEYFRIED FOR "MANK", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).

While I don’t expect it to come out in time for this ceremony, as a future Emmy prediction, I’m expecting HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us to be a big player. It’s very likely the best story I’ve ever seen in a video game, and the leading roles of Joel and Ellie are extremely rich and layered, and should serve as great showcases for whoever is lucky enough to get those parts. If this is done right, it could be huge.

Who on Earth would think there is a barren line up heading our way?

I just remembered that The Handmaid’s Tale films in Ontario and that considering how filming restrictions are being lifted in Canada it is probably quite likely to return in time for the Emmys (barring conflicts with Moss’s schedule).

It pains me to type this but there’s absolutely no telling that Succession will make it

As in make eligibility or make the nominations? Because if it makes eligibility then it is definitely getting nominated.

If it doesn’t make eligibility that strengthens the chances of The Crown by a quite a margin. However I think we should watch out for Perry Mason and The Nevers, the latter of which has already completed filming and is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon (who is yet to have an Emmy) before giving it to The Crown already.

I can see The Crown getting four Supporting Actress nominations à la GoT.

I think it’s possible This Is Us shows up in multiple categories despite being shut out this year. It’s a network show, so it’s gonna be produced and released quicker than cable/streaming programs.
