The lack of Nine Perfect Strangers mentions suggests a fundamental lack of understanding about the Globes and their modus operandi. They love Nicole Kidman and they love star filled casts (Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon etc) with mostly white people. It’s Globes-bait. If reviews are even decent, it’ll likely be nominated all over by the Globes.

People can predict whatever they like. Likewise, I can make whatever observations I choose. I made an observation.

Stop nitpicking whatever I say. It’s boring.

Nice to see they’ve got something after Mrs America being too small, Devs being too weird, Fargo filtering, A Teacher never taking off and Impeachment Bring stuck in purgatory

(And I guess, AHS too but that’s more a commercial play than prestige play nowadays)

I think The First Lady has already started filming. Could it be eligible?

Have a great day if you see this!

    FYC: Anthony Hopkins- The Father
FYC: Chadwick Boseman - Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

My wish is to see Ryan Murphy treating a new season of it as his prestige project and delivering something like Asylum, despite being an anthology series it has often felt like an ongoing show.

Roanoke was outstanding (minus that finale) and Cult is a top 2 season, so hopefully with AHS10 being with most of his regulars players / favourites it’ll be outstanding.

If nothing else, I can see Culkin getting a Globe nomination

How did you manage to say something so right followed by something so wrong? 😉

Roanoke was indeed quite good, but overall I prefer to see show dropping its satirical tone. I mentioned of Asylum because it’s truly that season that embraced a dark tone.

Honestly, Murphy and Co. took the wrong lesson from Coven. People loved the camp of that season, but it really only worked for that setting and those characters, and often it didn’t even work within that season. Bummer that Roanoke wasn’t well-received by the fans because that really felt like the show was putting itself back on track after the awful Freak Show and Hotel.
