I think unless one of them receives a Succession s2 amount of acclaim that each of the limited series airing in the Summer are going to suffer due to how packed the schedule is and the potential of them getting lost in buzz.

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

Girls5Eva kinda serves something they would stan. And Peacock shouldn’t be a problem for them considering their relation with NBCU.

I think we should maybe rename this thread “upcoming series” or something bc I don’t know if the globes will be happening this year lmao

Or just make it a super early 2022 Emmys thread. We kind of know already what’s airing next season lol.

Damn, Apple has a new high-profile show premiering basically every week. Even more
packed when you remember that they release weekly. Was originally my least favorite streamer, but I have to admit I am definitely tuning into every single show on their summer slate.

Emmys FYC: Maya Erskine in PEN15, Paapa Essiedu in I May Destroy You, Keeley Hawes in It's a Sin, Carl Lumbly in TFATWS, Cristin Milioti in Made for Love, Elizabeth Olsen in WandaVision, Billie Piper in I Hate Suzie, Hailee Steinfeld in Dickinson, William Zabka in Cobra Kai

The HFPA has been under so much intense fire lately that I wouldn’t be shocked if they took a year off to regroup while they get some Black voters in the room and rehabilitate their image.

If this is eligible, the lead actress race for limited series is going to be more bloody as bell lol

This will either be fantastic or a total disaster. I’m not sold on either casting.

    FYC:
Emmy: Ego Nwodim ("SNL"), Nico Santos ("Superstore"), Lolly Adefope ("Shrill"), MJ Rodriguez ("Pose")
BAFTA: Leila Farzad ("I Hate Suzie")
