Btw, the drama lead actor stat remains. Who we got next year?

What’s the drama lead actor stat?

Do you guys reckon Sandra Oh will ever win her Emmy. She’s at 10-0. Hopefully she’ll win for the final season

Maybe she can win for KE but she’ll have to be undeniable and Comer can’t be nominated. But since Comer is the one whose probably going to be sticking around now, she might have to settle for Supporting.

    For next year:

    Drama Series

Big Little Lies, The Crown, The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things, Succession, Westworld….then one new show so I don’t think Killing Eve, Ozark, Pose, Better Call Saul and This Is Us are coming back.

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

Oh won’t win for Killing Eve. Hopefully she can find something else at some point in her career but who knows? Roles like Eve Polastri don’t come around often, especially for an actress of color who’s almost 50.

I think Westworld is probably vulnerable. And I could see Big Little Lies missing too. I don’t think it’ll have much support from anyone besides actors. What would the new show even be?

The last season of Westworld got 20 nods and 4 wins and just base on the trailers looks better than ever and is on HBO. BLL i think is safe.

Watchmen stands a good chance of breaking through. It’s got some very big and respected names involved, it’s based on a beloved source material, and it’s HBO.

HBO won’t get four series nomination…Westworld will take the syfy/fantasy/epic bloc while BLL will take the popular segment and Succession is all prestige and is having a great second season and it is actually the best Drama series so far in 2019.

HBO coming out hard for all of these other shows is making me accept that Years and Years probably isn’t going beyond the Globes. I mean I guess I can only hope something else underperforms? RIP

The Hunt might make it for Drama Series if it’s good. It has Jordan Peele as an executive producer. I think if everything works out well, Logan Lerman and Al Pacino are slam dunks for nominations for Best Actor-Drama and Best Supporting Actor-Drama respectively.

Also, everyone says David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown will be the only Stranger Things actors nominated, but I think Dacre Montgomery will also sneak in.

Oscars 2020: I stan Joaquin Phoenix, Alan Silvestri, and Dean Deblois.

Emmys 2020: I stan Logan Lerman, Olivia Colman, and David Harbour.

Tom Hanks and Amy Adams stan in general.
