Darlings, there’s only 21 days left to watch Lena Headey going up the stage to get her overdue dildo.

LENA HEADEY hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!
If Lena Headey doesn't win the Emmy, I'm leaving GoldDerby forever.

This race is quite interesting, but I would not rule out Gwendoline Christie out of this race. Gwendoline leaves a lasting impression and something tells me that if someone will upset Lena, then it will be Gwendoline and not Maisie. Julia Garner is also a force to be reckoned with if the voters watch the submissions.

Darling, Lena Headey is winning but yes, the only GOT co-nominee who’s decent is Giant Christie.

I keep on trying to work out what keeps on being me back to thinking Christie can spoil, and it’s exactly what you said – that she leaves a lasting impression with her performance. As a GoT fan, of the handful of scenes that are snapshot in to my mind from this season, a great deal of them are hers, despite there being often bigger scenes I “should” remember more.

A rare compliment from Thatcher indeed.

Lena vs. Gwendoline is somewhat similar to Sarah Paulson when she was nominated for playing the two headed woman vs. Regina King. Sarah Paulson had the showier part like Lena in her submission, but Regina King’s scenes stayed with me similar to Gwendoline. I know some won’t agree.

No, I get it, though I can’t put a finger on it. I feel the same about the season of Top of The Lake Christie did with Moss and Kidman – I can barely remember the intricacies of what Kidman did, despite having seen it several times and knowing she’s good. It’s a total Christie-Moss show and there’s a couple of scenes where she outright scene steals (also, as an aside, that second series was GREAT. It was much better received in Australia and it reflects Australian attitudes and workplace relationships chillingly well. The international reviews seemed to think some of the ugly characterisation was surrealist, and as an Australian I WISH that were true)

I just figured two of my favorite moments from the entire season focus on Brienne (her knighting and her writing Jaime in the White Book). It will be great to see her win but I just don’t imagine it happening unfortunately. I don’t see any of the GoT actresses win at this point

FYC: Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones") for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, Miguel Sapochnik (“Game of Thrones”) for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series

I have a question re: Headey that’s been bugging me ever since I saw an interview with Coster-Waldau a few months back. What exactly is the “Guest Actress” criteria? Is it 50% of episodes, or less than 50%? If it’s 50% – Headey should really would have been much more powerful a submission as Guest. I feel like she would have been almost a lock there.

watch the minute or so from 8.58 onwards of Coster-Waldau talking – despite being credited, he and Headey don’t appear in their own corpse scenes (they’re mannequins) and therefore episode 6 – so Headey is only in 3/6 episodes.

(also I would never have picked those as dolls otherwise. All credit to a) the props department and b) to Dinklage for showing so much emotion over mannequins).

The rule is less than 50%, so Headey is in the correct category. I also believe that both she and Waldau were still credited for the finale though. But I’m honestly starting to wonder whether screen time even matters anymore when it comes to being a frontrunner; I mean, Fiona Shaw may win this category. Also, look at the massive support for Judith Light last year for appearing in barely 2 of Versace’s episodes. Or Jharrel Jerome this year.

In a way I just want this to be over with, because it’ll be hard enough not see Headey win.

Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.

What IS it about this goddamn category? I’ve given more thought to it than almost every other category combined. I can logically argue a case for every single nominee except Turner.

I checked actress’s clips video on utube and in the comments there’s so much love and appreciation for Headey’s work. Ik it’s the internet and outside industry, but it’s giving me slight hope that a miracle could happen.

A couple of days ago it was all Williams support and then after that it was Christie. I think it’s just stan convergence for everyone, plus Headey has the best minute in that video. And Allen is winning given the Actor vid comments.

We get it. You want Christie to win. Thankfully they’re all 4 losing so we’re not gonna fight. Shaw is taking this.

Can I appreciate something unrelated to Headey’s death scene? Her episode 1 obsession with there being no elephants is SO funny.
