Considering we have threads open for other awards for this season (Critics Choice, Globes, SAG, Emmys) and we’re midway through this season I was wondering what people thought could get in at TCA next year.

    What are your predictions?

2019 only had two men as well (coincidentally both were Bill(y)s, of the Porter and Hader variety).

That is a good point and admittedly I forgot about Small Axe. However has there ever been a situation where a Spring show has missed completely? I feel like at least one of The Underground Railroad, Mare of Easttown and It’s a Sin are making it in if they end up being players.

Will take The Mandalorian out for Small Axe though.

We still have no release dates for spring shows except It’s A Sin.

According to the creator of Mare of Easttown the show will come in March and it was front and centre off HBO’s 2021 trailer and two teasers of The Underground Railroad have already been released. I’m pretty sure they’re coming this season unless HBO delays the former to focus on I May Destroy You and It’s a Sin and Amazon delays the latter to focus on Small Axe.

Loki is the only drama we know is coming for sure in the Spring though (it has a May air date) so you are right there.

With the way TCA has been sweep after sweep recently, there’s no reason to even speculate anyone besides Michaela is taking home Program, Miniseries, and Drama performance.
