This was a great first episode but I am in awe of how amazing Marvel/disney is handlig all of these shows. My grade: A+March 19, 2021 at 10:39 am #1204145276
I really liked this pilot.
They got a lot of development from this ep aloneMarch 19, 2021 at 1:11 pm #1204145496
This pilot was incredible. I already feel like I’m going to like this show very much. Maybe more than WandaVision. So excited to see my favorite “side-kicks.”
I’ve read that Florence Pugh (Black Widow) may be in this as well.March 19, 2021 at 1:35 pm #1204145538
Liked it but felt like two different shows. Falcon arc was more traditional MCU-y action / agents of shield, whilst Bucky’s arc felt much more like a grounded marvel Netflix character swallowed by their own darkness.March 20, 2021 at 7:28 am #1204146678
Thought about keeping Disney+ for this too but that was boring as fuck. Was really looking forward to this after how good Wanda was, but I was very disappointed.April 9, 2021 at 11:54 pm #1204189283
The first half of the season was competent. Episode 4 was excellent. The main cast is doing a great job. And that final shot was haunting.April 10, 2021 at 8:57 am #1204189722

the first episodes were not very good. The last one (4th) was good.
Not the best Marvel product but I hope it gets a good finale.April 10, 2021 at 9:21 am #1204189753

Carl Lumbly deserved a nomination as Guest Actor for episode 5.April 22, 2021 at 3:45 pm #1204215690
I like the show so far but dear god it’s taking it’s sweet time in to get to the initial premise. Why is it with streaming shows, the final always feels like end of the pilot (or in this case, penultimate episode).April 22, 2021 at 3:50 pm #1204215701
I think the acting is really good for the most part. Mackie in particular is fantastic and the last episode is really good showcase for both of the title characters. I do think Brühl can pull off a nomination as well and Lumbly is fantastic and should be shoo-in if the Emmys embrace the show.

Carl Lumbly deserved a nomination as Guest Actor for episode 5.
This is a miniseries, so there’s no Guest award for this show. That said, I do think he’s by far the standout and would be all for him (and Wyatt Russell) getting a Supporting Actor nomination, much more so than the leads (not that Mackie and Stan weren’t bad themselves). Not now
