They got a lot of development from this ep alone
ReplyCopy URLMarch 19, 2021 at 1:11 pm #1204145496This pilot was incredible. I already feel like I’m going to like this show very much. Maybe more than WandaVision. So excited to see my favorite “side-kicks.”
I’ve read that Florence Pugh (Black Widow) may be in this as well.
ReplyCopy URLMarch 19, 2021 at 1:35 pm #1204145538Liked it but felt like two different shows. Falcon arc was more traditional MCU-y action / agents of shield, whilst Bucky’s arc felt much more like a grounded marvel Netflix character swallowed by their own darkness.

the first episodes were not very good. The last one (4th) was good.
Not the best Marvel product but I hope it gets a good finale.

ReplyCopy URLApril 22, 2021 at 3:45 pm #1204215690I like the show so far but dear god it’s taking it’s sweet time in to get to the initial premise. Why is it with streaming shows, the final always feels like end of the pilot (or in this case, penultimate episode).
ReplyCopy URLApril 22, 2021 at 3:50 pm #1204215701I think the acting is really good for the most part. Mackie in particular is fantastic and the last episode is really good showcase for both of the title characters. I do think Brühl can pull off a nomination as well and Lumbly is fantastic and should be shoo-in if the Emmys embrace the show.

This is a miniseries, so there’s no Guest award for this show. That said, I do think he’s by far the standout and would be all for him (and Wyatt Russell) getting a Supporting Actor nomination, much more so than the leads (not that Mackie and Stan weren’t bad themselves).
