Some striking imagery came out today from Hulu’s new series The Handmaid’s Tale starring Elisabeth Moss. Hulu has not had much luck awards-wise, could this be the show to turn it around?

The cast for this is really promising. It will definitely be a niche show, but would at least put Hulu on the map.

It’ll be nice to see Samira Wiley in a different role. Also happy to see my fellow Aussie Yvonne Strahovski back in a series. I hope Ann Dowd is given something awesome to do as she was such a standout on The Leftovers. I like that Joseph Fiennes and Max Minghella are part of this as well and of course Elisabeth Moss.

I always thought the film version from years ago was underrated. It has a great cast all giving great performances.(Natasha Richardson, Robert Duvall, Faye Dunaway, Aidan Quinn and especially Elizabeth McGovern)

Alexis Bledel was in it for one second and I already knew she seemed the most interesting!

Super Bowl trailer. #2 book on Amazon, after that one crazy conservative with protesters’s thing.

    TV Event of the year.

Can’t wait for this. Maybe this will be the show to finally get Hulu true recognition, though I think The Path deserves all the praise in the world. Michelle Monaghan should be nominated for an Emmy, imo.

From some of the early buzz I’ve seen from critics (which has been overall good), this is apparently the performance of Alexis Bledel’s career. So she could be a big contender for the Drama Guest Actress Emmy

Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.

I cannot wait for this show. The trailer looks amazing and I need Elisabeth Moss to finally get her first Emmy. She is one of my favorite actors and it is a fucking crime against humanity that she doesn’t have any Emmys. She should have at least 500000.

I’m not confident about the shows chances yet, I’m sure Moss will be great but it’s a tough year, I could see this not quite hitting in its first year. We still can’t be sure if the emmys care about hulu.

I don’t think so, but on the Vulture TV podcast they mentioned that the show, Moss, and Bledel were great without going into specifics or anything
