We’re up to ‘Heroic’ here in the UK. I seriously don’t get the lukewarm reactions.

It’s not felt glacial to me and there hasn’t been a dud episode.

We’ve seen with other shows this most recent TV season that rushing a great story to finish it all really weakens things across the board.

The Handmaid’a Tale is past tense.

Second most nominated Drama Series this Emmy’s from just THREE episodes without any Lead or Supporting nominees, a full seasons worth of writing, directing and guest performance contenders and without being eligible for Series.

A piece of advice: Just don’t interact with Hornella; he/she is a troll. It just clogs up the thread

Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.

    SPOILER

Why did they kill Eleanor and June just watched her? Is it just to make an excuse for Lawrence to ditch the plan and cause a conflict? I feel like writers just think what should happen in the season finale and plan the entire season to build up to that moment hence explaining and justifying characters’ actions, but because of this we watch a lot of filler episodes. For example, in order to grasp June’s plan to save children we had been offered the show’s worst episode “Heroic”.

No, it was because June didn’t want to take risks with Eleanor, her bipolar disorder made her a very dangerous threat to June’s plan. Also, it was a kind of mercy, Eleanor was deeply unhappy and this would have never changed in any country, she loathed her husband and also herself for letting Gilead happen. So it was very complex and ambivalent. June is not going to let Lawrence ditch the plan.

I loved “Heroic”, bottle episodes are meant to be divisive, this is why the Fly episode from Breaking Bad is so iconic, is equally loved/hated by fans.

Season 3 has been amazing, I am predicting the show to explode with nominations next year, I forsee double noms in directing, writing, editing and cinematography. Also, a sure noms for Moss, Fiennes, Whitford, Strahovski, Dowd, Bledel and Meloni. Possible nominations for Wiley (if she stays in guest), Brewer, Minghella, Fagbenle or some huge shock like Julie Dretzin, Ashleigh LaThrop or Clea DuVall (all of them would be deserved).

Theres no ways that’s happening. It’s only getting 1 Supporting Actress nomination. Moss is nowhere near a lock.

FYC Emmys 2019 ‘Killing Eve’ ‘Sandra Oh’ ‘Fiona Shaw’ ‘Bob Odenkirk ‘Jonathan Banks’ ‘Fleabag’ ‘Phoebe Waller Bridge ‘Olivia Colman’ ‘Ted Danson’ ‘Alan Arkin’ ‘Kristin Scott Thomas’

FYC OSCARS 2020- ‘Little Women’ ‘Saoirse Ronan’ ‘Maggie Smith’ ‘Downton Abbey’ ‘Emma Thompson ‘Late Night’

    moss is a lock

The only locks are Olivia Colman and Nicole Kidman, I can see everyone missing a nom except these two. Moss is likely but she could easily miss a nomination.

this show was the second most nominated drama show this year with loose episodes. The love for this show of the academy is so strong and now with june getting loose on the show with moss nailing iT to perfection. She even had a bottle episode to showcase her talent. I really would consider her a lock

Hahahaha, this is some attempt for a joke, right? Moss is a LOCK, the biggest lock of them all. Bigger than Colman who has to be seen FIRST. And much bigger than Kidman since Moss have been vastly superior with much bigger material and stronger season. Strahovski is a lock as well, Dowd can be left out if competition is very strong and that would be incredible because in that way Strahovski will be unbeatable.

Disagree, Strahovski has been seen as the best performer on the show alongside Moss, they have been constantly pointed out as the two best things about season 3 and many people have said that they have been carrying the show on their shoulders. Dowd was already snubbed and replaced with Strahovski at the Golden Globes and at the Critics Choice.

Moss is getting nominated. Don’t overthink it. No one from THT is getting nominated before her.

Darling, Ann Dowd has an Emmy for the show and Annoying Strahovski only got a nod for season 2.

LENA HEADEY hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!

Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones") for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

If Lena Headey doesn't win the Emmy, I'm leaving GoldDerby forever.
