Mike Barker confirmed there are 13 episodes in season 3. Filming is supposed to wrap sometime between April and May, so hopefully they can still make the Emmy deadline and will be able to release all of the episodes on time.
🔥❤️How many episodes are there in season 3???
@tianer0903 13 !February 10, 2019 at 11:23 am #1202767669
They will have hanging episodes once again. And this time, I think it will be more than three.February 10, 2019 at 12:05 pm #1202767820
How could they still make it to the Emmy’s deadline if they only finish filming April-May? Half of the season wont make it

They wrapped in mid April last season and finished post production on the finale in June. If they wrap mid April again, the finale will be completed in time to air by late June-mid July.February 11, 2019 at 1:20 am #1202771660
I thought that they will release the whole season at once this time to make it before the end of May, but now I can see it will be impossible.February 11, 2019 at 9:43 am #1202772176

I don’t know if you’ve all been following some live footage from the Handmaid’s set, but damn. There are some scenes that have leaked that I don’t think were supposed to be leaked, lol. I am not going to post them here because I am strictly against doing that, but they aren’t playing around. It looks unsurprisingly terrifying
Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.March 12, 2019 at 3:20 am #1202813353
What happened to them toning it down for the sake of not wanting anyone else to stop watching?March 12, 2019 at 3:24 am #1202813355

I think it’d be utter BS if they did that. This isn’t a happy, everything-will-be-fine type of show; I honestly never understood why people wanted it to be much lighter, that’s not the point of this story. They overdid it in season 2, that’s for sure, but Gilead is not going to get any better just because people can’t handle it. I am pretty sure they’ll lighten it up a bit this season, but it’s not going to happen instantaneously.
Plus, I’ve seen like 2 scenes and one image – not the entire season.

So, it’s the end of April, we’re almost a month away from the premiere – we should be getting a trailer very soon!

I couldn’t care less about this, especially after the mess of a 2nd season they made. I’ll definitely be watching though, ’cause Serena deserves a happy ending.
