    This promises to be a very entertaining evening. I’m already looking forward to Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton performing and curious who’ll do “You’re No Good.” Tom Hanks will have to be there for the Sally Field tribute. And the evening will have to end with a rocking version of “September.”

    Out of the five honorees only Thomas I predicted. Still not Dick Van Dyke? Or Burt Bacharach? Or Tommy Tune? As much as I enjoy Sesame Street there’s something off about giving the award to a TV series instead of a person. Have they learned nothing from Hamilton? Plus, I suppose a lot of us wanted Ronstadt to receive the honor, but do you think she’ll be able to attend?
