I thought there was a forum but I couldn’t find it. The pilot was so much fun. Brosnahan is coming for that Globe win and an Emmy nomination. TVLine gave it an A-. The premiere is November 29th.November 22, 2017 at 4:51 pm #1202418737
87 on metacritic with 4 reviews. This’ll definitely be a Globe contender.November 27, 2017 at 10:20 am #1202422116
Yeah it’s great reviews. I cannot wait to watch the rest of the season. Rachel will be amazing in it.November 27, 2017 at 11:11 am #1202422177
Up to an 88 with 6 reviews. I could imagine this gaining an Emmy narrative, especially for Amy Sherman Palladio constantly being snubbed for Gilmore Girls. This has acclaim, is on a platform the Emmys like, and it fits there taste. I’m currently predicting nominations for Brosnahan, Borstein, Shaloub and writing but I think I should add it to series.November 28, 2017 at 11:10 pm #1202424178
Sitting at a more modest 81 with three times as many reviews. Still a good bet for Globes, given their obsession with Amazon, although I am a bit concerned that it is peaking too late. Remember that they blanked the first season of Mozart in the Jungle.November 28, 2017 at 11:20 pm #1202424185

What do you think of it’s Emmy chances?November 28, 2017 at 11:26 pm #1202424186
Nonexistent at this time.November 29, 2017 at 10:22 am #1202424707
The second episode was decent but not as great as the pilot. The show is best when Brosnahan is front and center.November 29, 2017 at 5:15 pm #1202425046
Just finished the first episode and holy shit, Rachel Brosnahan!!!! Globes nomination (and maybe win?) would be well deserved based off one episode alone. Alex Borstein made a very good first impression too. Wonderfully paced script from Amy Sherman-Palladino and assured direction that’s among her best work ever. I’m more excited for this show now than I was before watching a single episode.November 29, 2017 at 9:27 pm #1202425185
I binged the first season quick. What a great show. So energetic. Brosnahan, Shaloub, and Borstein will all be award contenders. They were all great. Also, look out for Jane Lynch I’m guest actress. That should be an easy nomination. Even though he has no chance, I am a huge fan of Luke Kirby and I loved him in this. I hope the rules change so that he’s guest eligible. Depending on how much the Emmys attach to this I could see it getting a considerate amount of nominations. I could also imagine the show being completely looked over. I hope not. It was fantastic.November 30, 2017 at 9:38 am #1202425591
I’m on episode 5 and I love this show so much. Something really special about it. Rachel, Alex, and Tony all deserve nominations, imo. The show is so whimsical and Midge is such a wonderful character.November 30, 2017 at 1:08 pm #1202425885
This is considered drama or comedy at the Globes?November 30, 2017 at 5:35 pm #1202426290
It will be a Comedy.December 3, 2017 at 11:01 am #1202428067
I have binge watched the whole first season. I must say that this show really reminds me of Gilmore Girls mainly because of the style and this made me want Amy Sherman-Palladino to write my life. Also, Rachel Brosnahan was brilliant. She was born to play the role. Alex Borstein was also great as well. She proved her acting chops here. Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle were delightful as Midge’s parents. Overall, this is one of the best new shows this year. It’s whimsical and delightful. I hope this will get Emmy recognition next year even though it’s actually doubtful.
