YES! I wanted to be the one to make this topic. I literally can’t describe my excitment.August 4, 2017 at 1:48 pm #1202174858
Eight standalone episodes? So every cast member will be in 1 episode out of 8? Another nightmare to classify at the Emmys.
Wonderful cast, though. Of course I’m excited for Isabelle Huppert joining American TV and Hendricks/Slattery possible re-union (one of my favorite duos on “Mad Men”), I’m happiest the most for Marthe Keller who was in demand in late 1970s.August 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm #1202174862

Y’all, his is going to be forced into drama, and then Maniac will be forced into drama, and then Stone will beat Huppert, again, and anger will ensue.August 4, 2017 at 3:54 pm #1202174921

Relax, Maniac is probably staying a Comedy, since Dramas pretending to be comedies is way more common than the other way around.
Stone and Huppert could both win lead acting prizes just like at the Globes.

The TV Academy will once again have an opportunity to embarrass the Film Academy by awarding a film legend.August 4, 2017 at 11:39 pm #1202175450
Do we think this will go limited or drama? I honestly wouldn’t be surprised with all of these new episodic anthologies (Room 104, The Guest Book), if the rules are changed by the time this is released. But even if they weren’t, it seems that all of the episodes are slightly connected, so I wonder if that could cause it to go drama.August 5, 2017 at 2:58 am #1202175544
I loved the premise! Can’t wait for this one.August 5, 2017 at 6:57 am #1202175621

Uh oh. Now I am definitely never going to watch the entire series of Mad Men. Down goes Weiner! This makes so much sense in so many disturbing ways considering the sexism portrayed on Mad Men. Am I allowed to make that connection? Ah well, I made it so deal with it. Weiner (allegedly, of course) felt Kater “owed” him the sight of her naked body. GTFO!
Seriously, that feels like a scene right out of the world of Mad Men right there!
