I think this looks very Big-Little-Lies-On-Holiday (presumably minus a death). I had no interest in this series other than Britton’s involvement but this trailer actually looks really great. Visually gorgeous, amazing cast and a fun commentary on wealth and affluence. Looking forward to it!
Connie Britton is arguably the actor most overdue for an Emmy. 4 back to back nominations (3 consecutive nominations for unrelated projects which I think may be a record?) with no win yet.

First reviews are positive… Jennifer Coolidge looks like MVP

The trailer was slight, and Mike White is a prickly writer who’s divisive to some. But the reviews suggest far more going on than meets the eye. Underestimate at your own risk! I can at least envision a future writing Emmy nomination for White, if nothing else, though this is super-early in the new eligibility cycle. He should have been nominated for “Enlightened,” and more than once.
