Not surprised that the writers literally made Emmy bait tapes for Ventimiliga, Brown, Hartley, Metz and especially Moore.

Any questions for Susan Kelechi Watson?

What is it like being the one cast member completely ignored by the awards even though you are hands down better than the entire cast and the only person who should come close to a nomination?

In all seriousness I would like to know if Beth is getting actual meaty material next season since she deserves it

    This show has my heart.

Mandy Moore and Susan Kelechi Watson = the season MVPs

I adored season two, it covered enough of the Jack story so we wanted to hear it, but wasn’t overkill.

All of the case largely got a chance to shine. For a series to be this good over double the episodes many of its Emmy competitors has, says something about the quality of the writing and directing and performances.

But how would she with Sufe Bradshaw gone?

How did this win GLAAD for Best Drama?

Could not have predicted that they would send the divisive Deja episode, which is by far the worst scoring episode of the series on IMDb. Not like Lyric Ross even stands a chance at a supporting nomination. At least on-the-cusp contenders Justin Hartley and Kate Burton are front and centre in the first episode of this package.

Lyric Ross was excellent in Deja’s showcase episode, but maybe that wasn’t the best option for the FYC package. I would have chosen one of the standalones from the fall (“Number One” in particular to seal up Justin Hartley’s earned nomination) or “The Wedding” as an ensemble effort. I wouldn’t be surprised at all now to see some guest actress nomination for Pam Grier, or even better, Joy Brunson. And Gerald McRaney is repeating, bitches!

A full-on Emmy bait strategy of “Number One”, “Number Two”, “Number Three” and “Super Bowl Sunday” would have been fun.

“The Car” and “Super bowl Sunday” are a great showcase for Mandy Moore, she deserves a nomination. “The Big, Amazing Beautiful Life” was divised but IMO is one the best episodes of the serie.

    Didn’t liked “The Fifth Wheel”.

I wonder if they are relying on the Super Bowl slot and big buzz of the episode to not push “Super Bowl Sunday” with this FYC and instead went with an episode that pushed the narrative focus of the show in hopes that voters may appreciate that. That being said, Chris specifically told us “Super Bowl Sunday” was to be the only episode submitted for writing and directing, so not including it in an FYC package is interesting.

“Super Bowl Sunday” is included in the FYC package.

My bad lol probably should’ve zoomed in on the picture other than assuming only one episode was included.
