I think Milo would make it in Supporting. He really has to make the move.

Griffin Dunne and Michael Angarano were both superb! Both were Emmy-worthy tonight in one of the best episodes they’ve done so far this season.

One of my favorite episodes of the season so far. Dunne was a standout for me and I will champion him finally receiving recognition for this particular role. Both Dunne and Angarano were so heartbreaking and were given substantial material. I absolutely loved how the writers connected the moon landing to Nicky and his personal struggles. I shed a few tears this episode, both with the snow globe breaking at the airport and the final “you are my moon” speech.

#JusticeforMiguel! Jon Huertas has had next to nothing to do this season so far beyond some scenes here and there with Jack and Rebecca, so it was nice to see him in a different context opposite Nicky. Let’s get that flashback episode going for Miguel stat! There’s the missing 13 years to account for that’s just waiting for some kind of treatment, for starters. This time, his flashbacks with Jack served a needed purpose, so that was nice to see. Beth’s scenes with Tess were good. Kate and that teacher guy, hmmm. Something seemed a bit off there. Really interested in seeing what happens with Randall and Kevin next episode. They’ll inevitably mend their relationship, but Randall’s going through some things right now. The transracial adoption support group scenes might have been the best parts of this episode. This series is a strong advocate for therapy and mental health awareness, so yay for that.

The scenes between Randall and Kevin were the highlights of this episode. Sterling K. Brown has another tape here, and any doubts that he can continue his Emmy nominations streak should be quelled. I’m more convinced than ever that someone on the writing staff has personally dealt with trans-racial adoptions before or did a ton of research about it. I’d never heard of “ghost kingdoms” before, and it’s a fascinating idea. I would have been fine with the present-day scenes being the main focus, since the scenes with teens Randall and Kevin meandered a bit too much. But then I loved the parts with the toddlers at the Mr. Rogers taping lol. That was amazing! Anyways, three episodes left to the season.

I hope they were doing the usual 18 episodes but it’s anyway great what they were able to do this season.

I’m loving this season (like all previous seasons) and I was completly satisfied with the Randall/Kevin centric episode.

Sterling K. Brown shines every time he’s given the opportunity and Hartley delivered as usual. The are really the only two lead castmember this season.

Loved also how Ventimiglia carried all the “past” segments in the last episodes, due to Mandy Moore absence. He really should switch to supporting and be nominated.

The way Mandy Moore has not a single “great” episode this season. Yikes!
