It is great they are able to avoid clashing with so many titans but she still will have to face them at SAG and Globes.Riley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantFebruary 16, 2017 at 4:07 pm #1202013641

I can see it but I wish I could unsee it.February 16, 2017 at 5:04 pm #1202013676
So it’s ineligible? That is actually great news for her because if it was forced into drama it makes it easier for The handmaidens tale. Also, the limited category is getting a lot les competitive.February 16, 2017 at 5:46 pm #1202013703
I expected that, given how long it took to get any updates.April 14, 2017 at 12:02 am #1202066079
So all this talk about Moss’s The Handmaids tale got me thinking about Top of the Lake. Do we have an exact date? I know it’s not eligible for this season, but do we know the actual date in the fall it’s airing?
And also, we originally thought that the subtitle would help it to get into limited, but that didn’t work for Gilmore Girls. Do we think will compete in Drama and will it do decent with nominations in Drama?
It’s best shot, Elisabeth Moss, probably won’t happen since she would be competing against herself for The Handmaids tale, unless that show takes a year break. Do we think she will try to fraud into supporting or just not submit?April 14, 2017 at 1:31 am #1202066164
I could be wrong, but I think a SundanceTV press release said it’s going to air in October. For now I’m going to assume that it will compete in limited, in which case it’ll get a decent amount of noms if it’s well-received. If it has to compete in drama though, it’s going to have a tough time I think. It would probably get a directing nom for Campion, but yeah, the Moss situation would be tricky. Do we know anything about Handmaid’s Tale S2?April 14, 2017 at 2:44 am #1202066180
I am praying to god that it is a limited series. Kidman also has a good shot in supporting if she is in drama. If she’s in limited series, they can give her the Emmy a year early at this years ceremony.Riley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantApril 14, 2017 at 6:48 pm #1202066811
Weird, I cannot see the image when I view this thread on mobile. I want to see what happens with The Missing this year. If it gets rightly pushed into drama, then I cannot see Top of the Lake sneaking by.April 14, 2017 at 8:02 pm #1202066852
I can’t wait for this. Elisabeth Moss is my favorite actress so I am rewatching this in anticipation for the Handmaiden’s Tale.May 11, 2017 at 5:53 am #1202089847
I have a feeling Moss is gonna start a winning streak soon.May 11, 2017 at 9:41 am #1202090028
This looks good but it’s such an enormous fraud that it’s gonna compete in limited series categories. Either her or Weaver should have won that year not fucking Linney. Yes they were all frauds but Linney was an uberfraud. The one that smhll never be forgiven.
