It may be because I’m watching the show at the moment but my big one for this year is Emily Meade’s performance on the final season of The Deuce.

She’s just sensational and puts many of the inevitable Emmy nominees to shame.

She’s so great on that show, really fits into that whole world and era perfectly. I hope she’s cast in another high profile project soon.

Watching a bunch old HBO’s while in lockdown and Allison Pill (In Treatment) & Rutina Wesley (True Blood) have been phenomenal so far.

Erica from Stranger Things played by Priah Nicole Ferguson… She was the best part of the last series… She 100% deserves to be nominated and win at the Emmys this year

She’s winning the Emmy for Mrs. America, I call it now.

Early in season 1 was rough watching Rose Byrne in Damages. Rose has improved tremendously as an actresses.

While she was my least favorite of the adults, I think Portia de Rossi was better in Arrested Development than most people give her credit for.

Early episodes of season one, Rose Byrne was a little painful to watch on Damages, but she improved a lot

Considering how much the emmys loved Frasier, it is baffling that they never considered Peri Gilpin for an award – she’s hilarious!

Elizabeth Mitchell on Lost was great – in “one of us” she delivers one of my all-time favorite performances, small or big screen.

The supporting cast of The Closer was pretty great but since they have not gotten a lot of material or juicy storylines, I can see why they were never up for awards.

I concur on the mention of Peri Gilpin. She is one of the main cast members to never get nominated for an Emmy and that is baffling and sad. Peri had storylines and screen time that should have gotten her at least 2 Emmy nominations
