at, but don’t try to pretend like your opinion represents the vast majority. For instance, I absolutely thought she maximized her screen time; her performance touched me deeply. But I also know that that’s solely my personal opinion, not everyone’s.
Well, that’s my opinion too.
Shouldn’t be “unpopular” to say that this will forever be one of the biggest acting snubs ever to me.October 21, 2019 at 11:50 am #1203146152
Insatiable is everything The Politician tried to be but failed so miserably. Second season is so good. Dallas Roberts is like always killing it but Debby Ryan stepped up her game big time. Cannot believe I’m saying it but she’s my personal winner at the moment. They both are. It reminds about Bates Motel. When it started I was all about Vera Farmiga then Freddie Highmore started killing it more and more with each passing season (pun intended). And in the end surpassed her in acting department. I can see the same happening here. Hope it gets season three.
Yes, yes, yes! This is exactly how I feel. Debby was soo good this season. I feel like Dallas had slightly less material compared to S1. I have a feeling this season wasn’t watched by many people and it might get cancelled, but hopefully not. The show feels like it is just getting started.October 23, 2019 at 6:28 pm #1203149866
Maria Bamford should have been nominated for Lady Dynamite

Ivo, your opinion isn’t word. It’s completely fine that you’d think that, but don’t try to pretend like your opinion represents the vast majority. For instance, I absolutely thought she maximized her screen time; her performance touched me deeply. But I also know that that’s solely my personal opinion, not everyone else’s.

Except I never said that this statement is based on my opinion. It is based on poles and fans votes on absolutely ALL existing pages. Headey never won a vote versus her co-stars, she never won a pole versus actresses from other shows either. On top of that, she was ridiculed by the fandom and her performance this season was often called a “nothing performance”, a harsh words with which I disagree, but I do not see her as awards worthy either. But if you prefer to deny the facts and call it “Ivo’s opinion”, good for you.October 24, 2019 at 2:21 am #1203150159
I’m watching The Office (us version) for the first time and I can’t believe how this show was so popular and received many Emmy noms back then. I’m not enjoying it at all. The jokes are not even funny and every character is so imitating. The characters acting mean to each other does not make the show funny. There is nothing exceptional about the show and the actors performances are nothing special. There are far more better comedy shows that didn’t receive the same attention as The Office. The only reason why I’m still watching it to see if Jim and Pam will be a couple.October 24, 2019 at 4:21 am #1203150202
While Fleabag has great dialogue and storylines, it’s the most overrated show in history. While being a pleasant watch, there’s nothing THAT special about it.November 12, 2019 at 2:27 pm #1203176448
Jason Bateman deserved his Directing Emmy win.November 12, 2019 at 3:05 pm #1203176503
I’m not saying he deserved it over anyone else, but he was deserving. He’s directed most episodes of Ozark and I’m sure that definitely affected directors’ branch voting, but he really does great work and brings out the best of his actors. I consider his Emmy win as a prize for collective work, not specifically for “Reparations”. I too am in pain over Sapochnik losing, especially when he not only directed “The Long Night” but also “The Bells” which I found much superior than the former, but it’s safe to say they (GoT nominees) sadly vote-splitted, as, let’s be real, directors always vote on name recognition as well.November 12, 2019 at 4:11 pm #1203176580
House of Cards was one of the best shows of this decade, at least with its first couple of seasons. It’s a crime that Spacey and Wright has never won.November 12, 2019 at 4:13 pm #1203176583
I stopped HoC after the first episode of s2. It bored me to death (not that particular episode which was good).November 12, 2019 at 4:40 pm #1203176614

I pretty much found season 4 to be the best, but I think that opinion belongs in this thread too. It’s a shame that they didn’t take the time to write the final season after firing Spacey instead of rushing it after a month. If they took the time to do so and then release it around it’s usual release date this year, Wright probably would’ve had the material and buzz to win this time around.
