I assume from the majority of positive comments here/elsewhere that too many people did not have the strength to hate-watch to the end

OR *gasp* people just had a different opinion to you…

I do not see Tony Hale winning and he does not deserve to win.

Eleven storylines that never made it in the show

One of them is seeing a glimpse at President Hughes played by Tom Hanks, having in mind that Selina’s perspective of him is quite terrible. The other one is the potential storyline for an eight season. The “Oslo” plot with Selina seeking asylum would be the season 7 finale and the eight season would follow her in prison and feature a multi-episode trial.

What a wonderful bittersweet ending. Take notes D&D.

While GOT was a dumpsterfire in its final season, Veep was a masterclass in comparison. Watching week-to-week made me unsure how things would wrap up bc of the short episode order and my expectations. Watching the season again played better when everything is in context, but not the strongest season of the show. For me, it’s the weakest of the Mandel administration. The finale is a triumph across the board. Comedic gold that ranged from riotous to heartbreaking. I don’t know what’s next for JLD, but she’s in the history books for creating two iconic comedic performances with this one ranking up there w/white lady excellence like Lucille Ball and Mary Tyler Moore. Will miss this show and this cast dearly.
