Battle of the Bastards is not a best of a decade material imo. Worthy GoT episodes are The Rains of Castamere and The Lion and the Wolf (is that one eligible?).September 20, 2019 at 3:02 pm #1203089585
I want to yawn at “Battle of the Bastards” but it’s personal bias. And as of “Rains of Castamere”, other than the shocker ending, it rly wasn’t an episode (the rest of it) to write home about.September 20, 2019 at 3:12 pm #1203089621
I just want to remind everyone that without American Horror Story so many shows would have been one-and-done. Vote wisely.September 20, 2019 at 3:13 pm #1203089627
My lead actress in a limited series ballot has Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson 2 times and I’m not ashamed.September 20, 2019 at 3:14 pm #1203089631

Winds of Winter and Hardhome are the only acceptable GOT episodes for episode of the decade. Though come on, nothing else is even close to Ozymandias. That will and should win this in a landslide.
The Rains of Castamere literally changed the way people looked at television. It was also the start of reaction videos on YouTube. If any episode deserves a decade award, it’s the Red Wedding.September 20, 2019 at 3:19 pm #1203089647
Please no Hardhome. I’m tired of that episode being brought up for best GoT episode.
Personally, I think it’s a masterpiece. Miguel Sapochnik DELIVERED with that episode and should have won that Emmy over Nutter – I can’t believe he didn’t even get nominated. I am shocked that David and Dan came up with that story all by themselves. What happened?! But I am a sucker for anything White Walkers, so yeah.September 20, 2019 at 3:23 pm #1203089657
Yeah I was not impressed with the red wedding episode as a whole, but maybe that’s because I already knew what was going to happen. Regardless, I still think it shouldn’t be nominated over all the episodes I mentioned before. I did nominate The Winds of Winter for GoT, though.September 20, 2019 at 3:29 pm #1203089675

D&D are like selectively decent writers. They said one of them writes one half of the script and one of them writes the other. You can tell one is better than the other though when it comes to dialogue and action. I’m pretty sure it’s Benioff that writes the better dialogue as his novels are amazing. And Weiss writes the better action sequences. Weiss DEFINITELY wrote the infamous “bad p*ssy* line from Mothers Mercy. I started to get familiar with each of their writing styles and I feel like later on they switched. They also write better when they don’t rush.September 20, 2019 at 3:38 pm #1203089710
I wonder who wrote the second half of The Iron Throne…September 20, 2019 at 3:39 pm #1203089716
