You should probably specify for the remakes like Arrested Development, Will and Grace, Twin Peaks etc that it’s not the old series we know and love, but the one from the last decade.September 21, 2019 at 6:37 am #1203090415
I can already tell you that Lange is probably winning Performer of the Decade lol.
Not upset that it truth be told, next to Paulson, Moss, Oh and S. K. Brown. She’s probably the performer the defined peak TV this decade.
So guys, I know the quality dropped off in later seasons but if we’re talking about nominating shows that actually defined part of the decade it has to be…
I also love that we gave a nomination to Heather Morris in 2011 and swept the 2012 acting categories with Colfer, Rivera, Bomer and Dot Jones.
Naya Rivera – Supporting Comedy Actress of the Decade
Matt Bomer – Supporting Comedy Actor of the DecadeSeptember 21, 2019 at 6:42 am #1203090423
And let’s not forget about these gals:
Also, I was so ready to vote for of its episodes, but…September 21, 2019 at 7:17 am #1203090477

Thank you 🙂September 21, 2019 at 7:57 am #1203090589
There’s no Game Change in Best TV Movie. I hope you can add it.September 21, 2019 at 10:17 am #1203090754
There is some absurd snubs. Wtf you all are thinking when not nominated Amy Brenneman for season 2 and 3 of The Leftovers? She gave one of the best performances and most iconic character of the decade.September 21, 2019 at 10:56 am #1203090782

Just cleaned up the thread. Avoid quoting GIFs if you can, as well as double-posting as always.
Me seeing Dexter “The Getaway” as an option for Drama Episode and having to relive that heartbreak all over again…
“The Getaway” is no longer an option, but you can and should still vote for Jennifer Carpenter’s win-worthy work on the complete seventh season.
No Hugh Dancy either… Murder husbands really lost
You will just have to vote for him in guest for The Big C.
Big Little Lies should be in limited series if only season one counts.
What about Bodyguard, Homecoming, Pose, Russian Doll and Succession then?
Anyway, word of advice to anyone who wants Jonathon Banks or Giancarlo Esposito nominated for supporting actor of the decade like I do. Vote for their work on Breaking Bad rather than Better Call Saul. The former is more famous, acclaimed, and popular. It’s more likely to get them in for that instead of Saul. A nomination would basically count for their work on both shows.
Although I would have awarded Jonathan Banks for Breaking Bad and never for Better Call Saul, most people feel the opposite and I expect to vote as such. He has only one Gold Derby nomination for the former, but four for the latter, plus he has twenty-five episodes of Breaking Bad eligible, but thirty-eight of Better Call Saul.
When was Alison Brie supporting for Mad Men?
Alison Brie was never a main cast member on Mad Men and was nominated as a guest, so she should be moved to guest. My next post will be a full audit.
This scene is ineligible.
You should probably specify for the remakes like Arrested Development, Will and Grace, Twin Peaks etc that it’s not the old series we know and love, but the one from the last decade.
Nah, that is on you.September 21, 2019 at 11:42 am #1203090890
What does everyone think the biggest lock is? I’d say Bryan Cranston in Drama Lead Actor, deservingly so.September 21, 2019 at 11:56 am #1203090925
“The Getaway” is no longer an option,
But why? It is ridiculous. So, anything that airs this year after Emmy eligibility can’t compete at this decade’s awards as well as next decade’s? Come on.
Fizbo from Modern Family aired in 2009, why not remove that as well?
