Who would you choose as the best TV characters of the 1990’s?
Make your selections and send them to me in a Private Message (PM) by the end of Friday, March 22.
We will then announce the Top 20 sometime the following week.
This is the sequel to our very popular version from the 2000s that was created this past fall.
HERE ARE THE RULES…
TV characters from ongoing series (not movies or one-time-only
miniseries) are eligible from the 1990’s. However, when we do this for
other decades, no character will be allowed to appear on a list more
than once. For those that cross decades, that means you must decide the appropriate one
where they had the most impact.
Give points to your top 20 choices as follows:
100 to your top choice
95 to your second choice
90 to your third choice
continuing down to 5 to your twentieth choice
Send the list to me in a Private Message (PM) in the following format:
## Points — Name of Character (Name of Actor/Actress) — Name of Show
You must send 20 choices in the format listed above or risk your ballot being thrown out.
can campaign for no more than five of your favorites in this thread. DO
NOT list your full ballot or more than five names here. Be sure to
campaign for names you think others might overlook.
Very much looking forward to seeing your selections and the final results!!March 3, 2013 at 6:33 pm #270792

George Costanza (played by Jason Alexander) in Seinfeld has to be NUMBER ONE, if not at least in the TOP THREE
Jason Alexander did not win a single Emmy Award for his portrayal of George Costanza for the whole nine years of Seinfeld. I think he should keep this in mind when choosing the nominees. We should honor Alexander by giving him the NUMBER ONE spotMarch 6, 2013 at 4:00 pm #270798

Anytime I attempted to send this PM to Boomer I got a message saying “Invalid User”, and so I finally had to go into my messages and try sending it by clicking “New Message”, it says it sent, but I don’t know… Boomer, can you confirm that I sent this?
