Which Barry supporting actor do you most want to win the Emmy this year?

I think Carrigan will run away with this poll, but the emmys will be closer.

While I think there’s a pretty good chance vote splitting will be overcome in the drama supporting categories for GOT, this one I’m almost certain will be fatal Barry’s chances in this category. There is actual outside competition within the category and none of these three are the run-away favorite.

They will split the vote (and Carrigan is my favorite, with Root a close second). But it doesn’t matter, Tony Hale is deservedly easily winning again. I only see Alan Arkin as a potential spoiler, but voters didnt love “Kominsky” as much as everyone thought they would.

    Tony Shalhoub exists

Winkler was a lot better in season 1. He’s the only one I would have nominated last year, but this year I’d only nominate the other two.

    Carrigan > Root > Winkler

I’m confused why everyone thinks Anthony Carrigan was the best this season. I love him but this was Stephen Root’s season by FAR.

Cause Carrigan is consistently hilarious and is often the only source of comic relief. Root was great, but for me he had less standout moments and I think his material being more dramatic might make him less popular. It’s about the character too, Noho Hank is much more well liked than Fuches.

    Carrigan > Root > Winkler

I really need some examples of how Carrigan gave better performances than Root this season other then “comic relief”. I’m not trying to be rude, but come on… Stephen Root rocked this season. “Ronny/Lily” was one of the most talked about episodes of comedy this year and Stephen Root was hysterical in that.

NoHo Hank by far. But I’d vote for Shalhoub before any of them.

I’m glad people are realising Winkler is not Emmy-worthy on this show and simply won on overdue narrative last year.

I actually liked Winkler better this year, but the other two are better than him this year as well. The entire cast improved.
