The limited series starts in January 15. There will be nine episodes.
Synopsis: Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Wanda Maximoff and Vision are living the ideal suburban life in the town of Westview, trying to conceal their powers. But as they begin to enter new decades and encounter television tropes, the couple suspects things are not as they seem.

November 12, 2020 at 9:18 am #1203831736I’m excited for this. Olsen and Bettany have always been great in these roles and I’d love to see them get a bigger showcase than they have before.
And the playing around with time and format makes this one of Marvel’s most artistically interesting projects in awhile. Particularly interested to see the live audience segments.
Not always a fan of bringing back dead characters as it reduces the impact of their death, but it looks like they may be doing some interesting stuff with the concept, so if they deliver, I can forgive that.

It looks like every episode is based on the style of a cult sitcom and I’m so eager to see that!! Also even though they are not produced by the same studio Legion and Jessica Jones were amazing. Krysten Ritter deserved to win for Jessica Jones.

Ritter and Tenant both definitely should’ve made the cut, they were terrific.
Also D’Onofrio should’ve been nominated for Daredevil.

I’m a huge fan of Elizabeth Olsen, so will definitely be checking this. Also, Wanda is by far one of the best and most intersting characters in the MCU. I’m extremely happy she will have her own show.
November 12, 2020 at 10:09 am #1203831871Can’t wait to watch Olsen in this. She was fantastic in Sorry For Your Loss and I saw somewhere that the show will focus in mental health issues so I’m assuming she will get a lot of good material

This 100%. She was Emmy worthy and had one of the best performance of the year.

Also yes both Ritter and Tennant should have been nominated for Jessica Jones. In fact both were win worthy.

I got a new phone last week and they gave me Disney+ for 6 months!
I’m excited to see this too and I genuinely hate superhero movies. This one looks fun and I think Elizabeth Olsen is fantastic in everything I’ve seen her do.
Considering it’s formatted as sitcom episodes, I’m assuming each run time will be closer to the 30 minute mark. And it’s only 6 episodes? Feels like they’ve been working on this for ages.
