I am watching two British panel shows that make me laugh – Would I Lie To You?, which is similar but different than To Tell The Truth, and Taskmaster, which I think is coming out in an American version soon. Both shows make me smile and laugh and I need that more than anything during these difficult times!

The scene with Strong and Snook at the end of episode 4 wow.

OMG you saw Safe Room! What did you think of it? Now you partly know why I want Snook and Strong to win so badly.

I can’t believe you’re near Tern Haven, Argestes, DC and This is Not For Tears (imo every episode from Hunting onwards are the best continuous line of fantastic television episodes since Mad Men season 4).

FYC Emmys : Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve"), Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials"), Russell Tovery ("Years and Years"), Helena Bonham Carter ("The Crown") & The Crown, His Dark Materials, Years and Years, Succession and The Affair in all categories. The Politician : Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bette Midler and Judith Light.

FYC Goldderby Awards : MAURA TIERNEY AND DOMINIC WEST FOR THE FINAL SEASON OF THE AFFAIR

Would I Lie to You is iconic and the two panel captains are fantastic comedians here in the UK!

I don’t know if it’s unpopular or not but I liked Safe Room more than Hunting and it’s probably in my top 3 so far.

oops @ this thread becoming a Succession stan session, but that is why I’m so passionate about season 2. Every single episode felt like an absolute knockout, there was no filler or weak link.

The scene where Teddy ‘died’ that he referred to as razzie worthy was actually singled out by several publications for brilliant acting from Evan. Some people just don’t like her, and let that influence their opinions on her acting.

They are clearly delusional. That scene was a masterpiece. That and the scene where her dad becomes conscious of his surroundings, sees her and they reminisce about their time in the Ranch were Emmy worthy. Idk what these people are watching. Evan deserved both of her nominations and a nomination this year would be richly deserved as well.

Razzie worthy? HA! Ya’ll just say anything here…

I didn’t particularly like the direction of Dolores’s character in season 2, but I thought Wood did a great job throughout the season.

I liked Safe Room more than Hunting actually. I think a lot of people do.

Safe Room is quite possibly Macfadyen’s best episode.

I don’t even know what his standout scene was that’s how brilliant he was.

Just rewatched Hermanos tonight during my Breaking Bad binge. Giancarlo Esposito’s performance there is absolutely magnificent. I forgot just how many classic Gus moments were in that one episode.

Also, my mom hit Walt’s arc on the head when she said two episodes ago “I like him less and less with each episode”.

I’ve taken a break from Homeland, still in the middle of season 5, but am struggling to get into it.

Started watching The Comeback for the first time because I needed a comedy to help pick me up after a pretty rough week. Kudrow is beyond hilarious. We don’t deserve her.

I really want to watch Better Call Saul to see what all the hype is all about. I loved Breaking Bad, but for whatever reason I can’t get past the first 2 episodes. Maybe I just can’t get behind the idea of a prequel series. Should I skip ahead to a certain episode… would that help??

Eh, I don’t think so. It’s very good but the stakes just aren’t as high as they are in Breaking Bad (at least not for the first couple of seasons). I haven’t seen the latest outing yet, but that’s just my take on it. It’s worth watching though, but if you’re expecting to be as entertained and on the edge of your seat as you were with Breaking Bad, then that won’t happen. It’s a very smart show, though. Great writing.

I liked the episode, I think he could have easily beaten Paul had he submitted Face Off instead. I get that he gets a more lot to do in Hermanos and had this emotional moment when the Hermano is killed, but Face Off is just a superior episode and performance.
